Great Product in Theory - No luck so far in realit,April 8, 2009

"They float great, the red hooks are real strong and razor sharp. In theory - they should be ideal - as the hook always presents itself in the proper angle - which also helps to make the jighead less likely to snag as the hook isn't dragging on the bottom. HOWEVER - I have yet to catch a walleye on these - which may be due to my own inexperience. I will keep trying them. They look great - act great - are priced right - and come in great colors. Hopefully they wind up getting me a mess'o walleye!! The 4* rating is only because I haven't caught anything with them yet!!"

"I bought 3 packs of Northland Gum Drop floaters which did not float, so given my experience with Cabelas products I thought I would give this item a try since I had had luck with a similar looking floating jighead of an unknown brand. The first one taken from the package did not float and after a couple of tries I finally gave up on Cabelas' rendition as well. I spent about $20 total and still don't have a floating jighead in my tackle box."

"These jigs ride hook up and when used with a flex-o-sinker,also available at Cabellas,are 99% snagless especially in rip rap.Smallmouth,Largemouth,crappie,just about all species.Excellant product."

"WE USED THESE JIGS TO FISH CRAPPIES IN 20 TO 30 FEET OF WATER. THEY WORKED WELL ON A 3 TO 4 FOOT LEADER BEHIND A 1/2 OUNCE BULLET WEIGHT AND TROLLED AT A LOW SPEED. WE FOUND THAT THEY WORKED BETTER THAN OTHER STYLES OF FLOATING JIGS. CRAPPIE FISHING WAS GOOD THIS PAST FALL WITH MOST FISH CAUGHT RUNNING 12 TO 14 INCHES."
