"Utilizing UTI's Camo Pistol Grip Buttstock, I was able to convert my Mossberg 535 into a first classed Turkey Tamer. The stock installed in minutes and with ease. ATI did a great job in designing this product with many options to fit a number of popular models. The pistol grip provides excellent control with less fatigue while waiting on that trophy gobbler to strut into range. Another excellent product offered by Cabela's."

"The ATI pistol grip stock is an easy way to dress up an old or plain shotgun. I am very happy with my new stock, the only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that I only received part of the instructions. In order to complete the assembly I had to go online to the manufactures web site to get the rest of the instructions."

ATI Stock kit for MOSS 500,March 13, 2009

"This item fits great once you get past the lack/vague instructions. The buttstock is pretty much self expainatory however, I had some order-of-assembly issues when installing the forearm(already had installed buttstock and needed to remove to dis-assemble the action). I would have liked the re-assembly photos for the action to have been a little more clear but I eventually got them figured out. Also, the front ring that goes around the front of the forearm didn't really fit the way that I thought the instructions were explaining it so I flipped it around with the "gap" facing down and it went together with the forearm however then it would bind with the "taper" of the barrel when the action was cycled. To solve this I just took a dremel tool and grinded the "ring" down minimally so that it would clear the barrels' taper(this is not seen when gun is re-assembled so it didn't bother me). Now with the gun re-assembled, I am very ready for Turkey season to arrive. My only wish is that the forearm was the OEM lenght and that you could get a softer recoil pad such as the items that Remington or Limbsaver produces. This may be possible, I just haven't looked and found it yet. If anyone, knows of this, please let me know via this review."

"I purchased this product to replace the pistol grip on my Winchester Model 1300 Defender. The assembly instructions were extremely easy to follow and the components fit nice and tight. The only MINOR set back was the original stock bolt on the Defender is not long enough to accommodate the replacement buttstock. A quick trip to the local hardware store to purchase a new bolt (5 1/2 or 6 inch both work) and the problem was rectified in short order! I'm not certain if any of the other model shotguns with pistol grips have similar issues but it would be a good idea to include a longer stock bolt with the product at the time of purchase. Overall I am extremely pleased!"

"I am very happy with the ATI pistol grip, but can't give a 5 star for the following reasons. The instructions weren't super clear depending on which model of gun you have and anyone without decent mechanical ability would have a hard time with the installation. One minor note, the bottom of the pistol grip is an open hole, it would have been a nice finishing touch to put some sort of cap on it, to keep out the dirt if anything. But, the feel and gained gun control are fantastic."

"I put this new Stock & Forearm on my Remington 870 Turkey gun and I am VERY pleased with the results. You would not believe the difference it makes in shooting and the appearance of the gun. Using this kind of stock also gives you a coulpe of different ways to comfortably carry your weapon rather than just the traditional ways. It was very simple to install if you can read and understand simple instructions. I have already recommended it to a few of my hunting friends!! GREAT product, and it even came with the tool to change out the forearm."

"my only complaints about this product is the installation directions are a bit confusing.The recoil pad could be better, if your shooting magnum turkey loads expect a wallop.overall a great upgrade to my 870 express magnum. I can aquire a target much faster now and this turkey season will put it to the test!"

"I purchased this stock with the intentions of puttining it on my Moss. Maverick even though the forend does not fit the Maverick. Changed my mind and put it on an old Moss. 16ga. It really made an old gun look great and with a few modifications I even got the forend to fit. I did purchase another buttstock like this one, only in black, and I put it on my Maverick and it feels nice. Can't wait to use it during Spring Gobbler season."

"If you've ever gripped a rifle of shotgun with a pistol grip or thumbhole stock you know how comfotable it is. The pistol grip lets my finger find the trigger more naturally and removes my hand from in front of my face eliminating the chance to punch myself from the recoil of these high power rounds. It would be nice if the product had a raised stock to bring your eye in line with the scope easier, but overall the stock fit nicely, nice camo pattern and was relatively easy to install. The forend is smaller than the stock forend, I chose to leave my stock foend on since it was already in realtree camo."
