"my grandpa had a bag of these and no fish were biting when i was cranking so i thought hmmm, well i took a regular blue jig and threw one of these hoochie koochie worms on and 15 feet of water of a 10 foot weed bed and let er sink then jerk her home and bam you got fish coming your way"

"These swinbaits work well for me on Bass and Walleyes. Weightless they can be fished on top of weeds and with a 3/8th oz jighead they can be used to probe deeper rocks. Tail can be bit off rather easily but I still get at least a few fish on each one before that."

"Great product. I've caught northerns, LM bass, crappies, yellow perch, and a catfish on these. I always have one set up on a texas rig on one of my poles. When I was trying to mimic baitfish, I was a rapala husky jerk fan almost exclusively until I tried these baits. They fish anywhere and seem to work more consistently than other soft baits. I have mainly fished the baitfish colors with great success!
Besides, they are much less expensive than hard baits..."

"Brought them with me to Belize this Feb. 2009. Found them great for baracuda and snook. They have great action that I originally intended for smallies but I found saltwater fish like em too. The only drawback was you will need to buy extras because they only last for 1 or 2 fish and the tail rips off."

"The HOOCHIE KOOCHIE is a great swim shad! I've had great luck fishing smallmouth in strong current and calm water. I've had the best luck rigging it weightless wacky style and through the nose weedless. I would recommend this product!"

"When I received the Hoochie Koochie Swim Shad's I had mixed feelings about them. I like the idea of the bait. It resembles a fluke, which I throw a lot, and a swim bait which can always be a hot ticket. I think the best time to use the Hoochie Koochie is in lilly pad's and or thick grass. I like how the bait stay's on a straight retrieve when being twitched, instead of a walk the dog action. It helps the bait move around pads and grass easier I caught several fish the first time out with the Hoochie Koochie. Sizes ranging from 8 inches to 3.5 pounds. We had alot of fun, all of the fish we caught were in the pads. Thanks for making a great bait."

"I like the bait and have caught a lot of walleyes on it , but cut off the tail , so I can have a stinger hook near the end of bait. Would like to see a tail change , gets to thin, no good place for a stinger, don't like the paddle end for vertical jigging.
Would like a tail like the aqua glow worm(diamond) or a V taiL with that would flip up and down with rise and fall of bait .
Fish seem to like the heavy scent and glow Perch color could use some more gold specs in it
Would like to see a white with silver and black specs"

Hot Post Spawn Bait,June 12, 2007

"The post spawn has always been challenging with the bass suspending and not wanting to eat. For the past two weekends in a row I have caught over 90 bass a day, mostly smallies, on the 4.5 and 5.5 inch Hoochie Koochie in the Smoke Pepper Shad color rigged without a weight, fished with a steady retrieve just under the surface. Add a weight and no bites. Not sure how long this bite will last, but it is out fishing the B-bug, kalins, smallie beaver, super fluke, weighted swim bait, etc.. Still playing around with which hook works the best, as I am missing a lot of bites, but you clearly get to see the fish blow up on the bait and take it under, sometimes they don't get up on the hook and sometimes the paddle tail gets on the hook and prevents a good hook set. But I am still getting a lot of fish to the boat with over a dozen each day 20 plus inches and a surprising number of smaller fish in the 12 to 15 inch range."

"Used the Perch and Watermelon Candy on the troll in San Diego Bay on Sunday. Used yellow head 1/2 jigs and the fish lit 'em up! Dropped the jigs on the bottom and drifted, occasionally bringing them in on a slow retrieve. The scent has a strong garlic aroma and Sculpin, Spotted Bass, and Sand Bass stayed steady on the attack all morning. Even managed a just legal Halibut on the slow return. Great product, Great results, get fishing.!"
