"Floats work excellently as designed--easy to follow drift and make corrections, very easy to see, size of float is a perfect match for 1/8 jig w/o additional weight added. Only one package of rubber rings supplied with float, however and these things are TINY. If you loose one, the float doesn't work. Are replacements available?"

"I bought a few of these with the thought of making custom floating lures for surf fishing. I found that they can be cut easily due to their "rubbery" construction, and because the line runs through the float, this offers a number of options since you can cut one into a variety of lengths. They are marked as to the amount of weight they will support and this saves time when you decide on what to float."
