"This is a great item for preserving fish. There is nothing worse than dead trout that have been subjected to high temps for several hours. This basket allows you to keep your fish alive until your ready to quit. then simply lift from the water and clean em. The spring loaded lid works perfectly."

"These baskets really work well, and keep my catch alive all day. The only issue I have is that the bottom hatch is easy to open, and I lost a few fish (trout and perch) that managed to wiggle their way out that opening. My solution is to just secure this hatch with a zip-tie, as I didn't really need it anyways."

"Item just as described great for holding live bait or even the smaller pan fish easy in and out no problems just tie a rope to the handle any length you might need for your particular waters. This basket is really good for protecting your live bait or pan fish if you fish a lot of water's that might have snakes or crawfish/crabs that might try to attack? They wont be able to get through like the other types of baskets made of different material. The compact size when collapsed is really nice for traveling or carrying around with you to different spots. I would definitely recommend to anyone who might be looking for a product like this."

"I love this basket. I can keep fishing without worrying about draining water off cooler ice. Now I can fish until I'm tired, place my catch in the cooler and then stop by a nearby gas station on the way home and put the catch on fresh ice. The beauty is I don't have to stop for ice on my way to my favority fishing spots and if I don't catch anything , no need to dump unused ice out."
