"While the lures are plastic they seem to be of high quality. They dive deep and true. Used them on Lake Erie and caught walleye and sheephead on them. The lure and hooks were able to pull in a huge 20 pound sheephead without bending or breaking. After a cold front moved though, the firetiger was the only bait that produced for me. Very nice design and awesome price!"

"Have recently purchased these deep runners for big rainbow and bull trout fishing on Kootenay Lake in BC. Caught 2 fish over 5 pounds in the first 15 minutes on the lake with the lure. Have caught several other fish and lost several exceeding 10 pounds. Has both a wiggling motion and side to side motion at the same time. Some plugs don't run true at higher speeds but most do. Overall, a very great lure, especially for the price."

My first King Salmon,September 30, 2007

"This weekend, I caught the first King Salmon of my life on one of these lures. I was shore fishing at Lake Michigan. First, I tried another brand of crankbait for about 20 minutes with no success. I then switched to the larger sized Walleye Runner in the Firetiger color. On the second or third cast, an 8 lb male King Salmon hit it. The action of these lures is incredible, even at slow speeds. Can't be beat for this price. I'll be buying more."

"I have purchased the combo 12-piece kit, and find it pretty comprehensive. However, because I love a similar name brand series of walleye cranks. and these looked similar in the caltalog, I bought them. They are not the same (and were not advertised as such) so I am a little uncertain as to their trolling depths. They are not listed in the Trollers Bible, and Cabela's doesn't state a comparison. I have used the settings of their respective counter-parts because I have no other means to go by. It would be nice to know. The few I used trolled straight out of the box with no tuning required."

"I have fished these baits in many of the lakes around Casaper Wyoming over the summer with lots luck. These baits are great if you need to control the depth of the bait for suspended fish.
