Never caught a musky, but...,September 23, 2009

"Caught a ton of northern, and some really nice bass on it. If I've ever thrown an "idiot bait" this is it. Throw it, let it sink to the depth desired, and vary the rate of the retrieve till you get bit. Nothing fancy. Can't figure out why fish hit it, but not going to argue with them. Skirt survives toothy critters well. If I were ever going to be comfortable with only 1 bait in the boat this might be it. Going to buy more."

"the jig is very nice, i like the color and action, but, the hook bends very easily, i was snagged on a log that i brought to the boat with little effort while fishing. When i unhooked the jig, the hook was bent back."

"I purchased this jig (bluegill color) in October for a recent musky trip and had great success with it. The hook was extremely sharp and pierced the boney jaw of the fish with ease. The skirt did not get torn up nor did the jig head chip or scratch due to the fishes teeth. I fished this jig all day and caught several fish. My buddy was fishing a large bucktail spinner and never even saw any fish. Too bad for him that I only had the one jig. I'll definitely add some additional jigs to my collection before my next trip."

"I used the 1\2 oz Lil' Hustler Swim Jig Colored ( white) with a white 6" paddle tale minnow in shallow water. I have had some fast and hot action on catching Northern Pike just swimming it back to the boat with a little pause after four cranks. I got the idea from in-fisherman TV show."
