"First off this lure will catch fish. The only problem with it is that the treble hooks always seem to hook together on a cast. And once that happens the lure is useless. They need to lengthen the body a bit or use smaller trebles so they dont get caught with each other. Sometimes you have to make 3 cast just to get the lure to sit right in the water without the trebles being tangled. Other than that this lure catches fish, topwater action Rules !!"

"This is one of the greatest top water lures ever. It looks like a real frog and the wobble action is excellent. My kids have a great time fishing the weedy areas for northern pike and the northerns really smack this lure coming right out of the water sometimes. The only small problem with this lure is sometimes the treble hooks get caught together and it seems like there are alot of missed hook sets (more than usual for a top water lure). It might need larger treble hooks. I will try it with some larger lightweight trebles and hopefully it will not have an effect on the action. Overall this is a great fun lure for kids to fish because they get to see the northerns hit it and it's very exciting."

"This june frog is soo great to use! it has a nice wobble action to it and drive the fish crazy! ive caught fish on every one of the six colors!! but the most effective color was firetiger! not only do bass love em pickrel do too! try one or every color out! you wont regret it! i put them in my box and had some negitive insights on them from others i fish with and they were so negitive about them but one i started out fishing them they had deff. change in heart in this bait now they want me to give them one of mine! dont let the low pricew fool you its a fperfect bait and it catches fish!!! A+ p.s. i will be buying more!!!"

"I received these june frogs a few weeks ago and they have already been very successful lures. The lures provides excellent wobble motion and do not roll or dip. The quality of the lures really comes through when you experiment with different speeds of retrieval. Cabela's june frog can be retrieved at pretty much any speed you would want, and at each speed it performs flawlessly.
I have been using this lure mostly in a pond, and I have caught bass, crappie, and bluegill all on this one lure. I have also tried this lure in a nearby creek with some very good success. I have been using 10# Cabela's pro-line (great stuff) and a ZX3000A/FEII combo.
I definitely would recommend getting these lures and making good use of them; they're great."

"I am addicted to topwater bass fishing and this just may be the best topwater lure I've ever fished. Right out of the box I caught several largemouth bass fishing weed beds in the Beaver river. This lure will give all other topwater lures a run for their money. I bought the frog kit which consisted of six patterns and all the patterns are fish catchers. I highly recommend these to all topwater fishermen."

"This is an excellent all around topwater lure. It has excellent wobble action very similar to the Jitterbug lure. I have caught both Largemouth Bass and Bluegill on this lure. The wobble action produces thunderous strikes and draws the fish even from deep water. I highly recommend these June Frog Lures."
