"I use two of these in my upland vest to carry water for my dogs. In my opinion it is way better than carrying water bottles for them. Fill the camelback, throw it in your vest and when you bend over to give the tube to the dogs, squeeze the tub end and it shoots out for the dogs to drink. Great for long hunts and keeps your vest open for carrying birds!!!"

"I was suprised that the mouth piece on this pack had such a leakage problem. We hiked for 3 days and any slight bump of the mouth piece started off a pretty steady flow of water. I used the same pack, but with a shutoff valve on the mouth piece. I'd definitely recommend getting the pack with a shutoff valve."

"I used this on a recent Elk hunt in Montana. The system worked fine until the weather got cold and I could not keep the value from freezing up. Being several miles from camp, I was glad that my hunting partner was willing to share some of his bottled water with me. My outfitter also told me of other hunters experiencing similar problems, which is why he said that he would never buy one.
If you are hiking in warm weather, it is a great asset. If you are going out in cold, be prepared to eat snow."

"Wouldn't go into the woods without it. I would recommend the 100 oz over the 70, it's worth the little bit of extra weight to have the extra water. Frees up space in my pack not having to carry extra water bottles. Seems to be extremely durable, hasn't leaked in my pack, and the water has no aftertaste. Great product."

"I have used this hydration pack several time and have been very satisfied with it. I would recommend the 100ml model over the 70ml model. I go on all-day hike/fishing trips in the mountains and on a hot day I use every drop in the larger model. Also be sure you have a pack that is hydration compatabile otherwise get an all in one pack since this reservoir won't work on it's own."

"My CamelBak OMEGA HydroTanium Hydration Resevoir was defective. I am in the process of sending it back to hopefully get a good one this time. The first one had a couple of holes that made the water drip out. It got all over me and my backpack while I was hiking one day. It was a good thing I had packed extra water because I lost half of my supply while it leaked out."

"My biggest problem when out hunting is I tend to go through a large amount of H2O and it's hard to find a good bladder that hold more than a couple of liters. I have been using the CamelBak 100 oz hydration bladder for two years now and I find that it carries all the water I need while out hunting. It works well in the cold weather of Colorado and in the hot dry Sonoran desert of Arizona. It's easy to fill and equally easy to clean. It fits well into my hunting pack and the hose is long enough to reach easily around to where I want it. I won't leave the truck without it!"

"I bought this as a replacement for a reservoir that was wearing out and it really keeps the growth down when on long trips. Usually you have to watch out for the water to get a little "off" before cleaning but this one keeps the "bug" count down without adding any distinctive flavors. Still have to occasionally clean the reservior but not as often. I will be buying more of these in the future to replace a couple of other reservoirs I have."
