Hunter's specialties push pole,November 3, 2008
By ontheothersideofthebayfrom Eastern Shore of VA
"To be fair, this is a nice design in that it telescopes and takes up little space when collapsed and provides both an emergency paddle and decoy grabber (hooks on oar blade). My buddy and I each bought one. On the first time out I dropped the pole when I saw a bird and it sank out of sight. If I had been thinking I would have filled at least part of it with foam. My buddy's pole broke in one of the first few uses. My sense is that this is almost a good product and could be with a little more strength and flotation. It would be OK as a back up pole intended for light duty."

push pole,January 28, 2008
By dutchstardriver
"A push pole is a necessity in any fishing boat. When you look this item up it appears that you get the pole along with the attachments. That is not the case you must buy each piece individually. The pole and the foot that I bought works as it should. This pole collapses shorter than the other one I have. It is easier to store in my boat."

"The Push Pole works ok but the buttons stick too much from the very first use. It does compact nicley as to not take up to much room."

Hunter's Specialties Push Pole/Attachments,January 8, 2008

"These are good, rugged products. Although I've only used it hard for one season, I believe it will stand up to years of abuse, which should serve me well in my duck boat."

Push Pole,November 6, 2007
By Reelfoot
"Pole works great. Extends and retracts like you would want it to. My concern is that the push buttons for the easy extension/retraction will not fully engage and you will lose a portion of your pole. That has not happened, but I can see how it would."

HUNTERS PUSH POLE,September 16, 2007
By yaya1937from MIAMI, FLORIDA
"I USE THE PUSH POLE WITH MY 16 FT. GHEENOE BOAT. EXCELLENT STRONG POLE. WOULD LIKE IT BETTER, IF THE POLE WERE THINNER AND LIGHTER. THERE SHOULD BE A CHOICE OF COLORS AS WELL. (WHITE , BLACK, KHAKI). I USE IN SALT WATER,AND I LUBRICATE THE POLE AND WASH IT FREQUENTLY. IT HAS PERFORMED WELL. THE PRICE WAS EXCELLENT. I WOULD SPEND A LITTLE MORE FOR A WHITE POLE. I LIVE IN FLORIDA AND THE DARKER COLORS GET HOT.
SINCERELY,
A 70 YEAR OLD FISHERMAN..........."

This thing sinks - not stinks - sinks,August 22, 2007
By RowdyK9from Savanna, IL - Sportsman Paradise
"Bought & used this and had problems with the pole telescoping after you get even a tiny bit of sand or crud in it. Also, after spending some good coin on this, it fell in the water one day and I was horrified that it didn't float. Sank to the bottom of a deep spot never to be found. FYI - Be aware."

"Product worked great with the duckfoot and has already kept the boat from getting stuck a couple of times in shallow situations. Very pleased with the pole and foot."
