"I have used the bitebuzzer several times and have to say that it works well, however I found it to be a little to sensitive. I have found that it also works quite well when trolling with light spinners. Overall I feel that it is a good product and would recommend keeping one in the tackle box. For the price, you can't go wrong."

"I purchase a bite buzzer last summer and I am very happry with it. It is easy to use. I can be away from my rod and the Bite Buzzer will alert me when a fish is biting. The BB is very sensitive and works great in both windy and calm condiitions. It can be adjusted to detect even the lightest bite. I also love the fact that it takes no batteries ( a plus if you do a lot of fishing.) It takes up very little room in the tackle box and it may be the most important peice of tackle that you will need. I highly recommend the Bite Buzzer. I think everyone who fishes should have one. I know kids will love them . All in all, an excellent product."

"This little gadget works great on both big and small fish. I have used it to catch 3 inch Brookies in the small brooks in the green mountain national forest in central Vermont. I found that the sensitivty switch is so easy to use that even my children were able to set it to detect even the slightest nibble. On the other end of the spectrum, we have used it on Lake Champain during the fall when the waves were rolling. Again, the switch made it easy to adjust for the wave action and we've caught several Lakers using downriggers and the Bite buzzer. It sure beats having to stare at the pole for a strike. Great product well worth the few bucks it cost."

"All I can say is WOW! This lil' thing is the best thing since the electric bulb! I NEVER and I repeat NEVER miss a BITE or NIBBLE. I have tried this in the several LAKES as well as the OCEAN as well and let me tell you my friends that you MUST have this Bite Buzzer. It is smaller than all of the other gadgets I had tried in the past and certainly more simple to use! ...and a price that you just cannot beat! I bought several of these as gifts for my buddies as well! Even my kids can use it!"

"I've had two of these Bite Buzzers, for awhile now, and they are undoubtedly worth every cent I paid for them, and much much more. I am getting a more of these, one for each rod I use, and perhaps a couple spares for my fishing buddies to use as well.
As an experienced and frequent angler, over 50 years, I primarily fish from piers and beaches in South Florida. I almost always have multiple rods soaking bait. The bite buzzer works, and I have caught more fish as a result.
It alerts me when I'm getting a nibble, or a strike, before the clicker on a reel goes off. I can get to that unattended rod faster, and have a much better chance of hooking and landing the fish as a result of it's adjustable & sensitive alert.
It may take some getting used to initially, and adjusting to find the right setting for the conditions and equipment. After using it several times, it is easy to use. I was frustrated the first time I tried to use it, but than I read the directions. You should too. Simple and easy to understand. My Pa once told me, "When all else fails, read the directions." He was right about that. They work. :)
This is a terrific fishing accessory, and I can recommend it for most anglers. Perfect for the kids, the adult anglers will soon find themselves using it as well. It is one of those things you have to try to believe, and once you do, you'll be hooked.
I rate this as a 4.9 on a scale of 5. Hey, nothing is perfect, but this certainly comes close.
So get a few for yourself, but please don't tell too many others about this tackle box secret. There may not be too many fish left for me to catch if every angler uses them. :)"

"Excellent product. Bought 2 (one for me and one for my 5 year old son). Originally I thought he would use it more than me but that is not the case. I fish 3 poles and my son 1. Seems that the poles with the BiteBuzzers tend to catch more fish! I'm beginning to see that there are many times when you miss strikes because you are not watching the poles. I will be buying more for my other poles.
Like: Size, Price, Sensitivity.
Dislike: Could be a little louder."

You can only have soo much fun with a Buzz...,November 21, 2006

"Conceptually, this is a great device - and when adjusted properly, probably is. But, I find it very hard to get it to not give off negative 'buzzes' when the wind is blowing or there is a duck swimming by or whatever.
I use long spinning rods, so the line is further away from the rod than conventional reel setups and really cannot cast with it on the rod, unless it is close to the end of the rod. And, at that location, it is hard to 'adjust' without having to go through taking the rod out and going through a whole series of stuff. And, then, when you try to adjust it and put the rod all back up, it still might be set wrong.
Anyway, it might be a great device under the right situation, but in my case, it doesn't work very well..."
