Sharp but weak hooks, January 9, 2008

"This bait is effective for Striper fishing but the hooks are not strong --- at all. If the hooks were stonger, the bait would be a solid 5 star but losing fish when a hook fails stinks.

I would not recommend for any fish over 15lbs."

"I hve found Lingcod LOVE the 6" Anchovy here in Northern California! I fish them mostly with light tackle in depths to 75' They aren't heavy enough to go deeper here, but can be added above a heavy sinker to get down deeper if desired."
