By ChiefBrownfrom Sasebo, Japan
"I am in the Navy stationed overseas and I have to travel around a lot to find good fishing spots. With this bag I am able to take all the gear I need wherever I want to go. I can take everything but the kitchen sink and it is very comfortable to carry! Thank you Cabelas for such a great product!"

Great Bag!,March 30, 2009
By MikeK43
"So far, so good! This bag is well designed and well built. It is larger than it actually appears in the picture and has storage galore. I switched to this bag from another large bag, but this bag has far more usable storage space. I know the perfect tackle bag has yet to be created, but for the type of fishing I do (surf, pier and bridge) this bag is the best I have seen. I checked out a few other bags that were larger, but they seemed heavy without tackle - could not imagine lugging them around with tackle! For its light construction, the Salt Striker is the way to go in my opinion!"

Cabela Salt Striker Bag is AOK,October 15, 2007
By MikeOnGalvestonBayfrom Upper Texas Coast, TX
"I am pleased with quality and size...good rigid phenolic bottom protects bag from wicking any standing water...good idea...The Cabela Bag at issue exceeds quality of a utility bag from Penn that lasted only 2 years...but I am harder on my stuff than most so if this bag last 3 years of contiunous service I will be happy....Only negative aspect is zippers could have been heavier duty with weather flaps. But overall it is a good large utility bag, perfect for inshore flats fisherman"

Good solid tackle bag,October 2, 2007
By GiveMeTheBluesfrom Essex Junction, VT
"I'm very pleased with this bag and use it for my saltwater boat bag. The construction seems quite good. Because of the curved corners on the top of the bag if you want to get the front most box out you have to remove another of the boxes. Plano makes another box that is half the thickness of the 3750 so I replaced one of the 3750s with two of those which worked very well. The main compartment is wider that the 3750 boxes so there is room to tuck another small box at the end though it is not as easy to get at if you do."

Gets the job done,November 21, 2006
By nikolas
"This bag fits 5 plano boxes filled with my offshore tackle and the outside pockets are great for my spare wind on leaders (4), pliers, gloves, and some spare items. On a recent trip we got caught in pouring rain, on the way back, and of course forgot the bag in the bow area of my small CC, exposed to the rain. Not a drop got through to the gear. Highly recommend it."
