"Bought this to use catfishing, have got to use it a few times now and it works great. The first time i used it it took a little bit to get it set how I wanted it, but once you figure out different ways to set it up, it's easy to do each time.
This is great for anyone looking for a sturdy rod holder for larger rods, it is not very heavy, easy to set up and tear down, and so far it really seems like it will last quite a long time.
The only thing I might change would be to put it in a better case, mine is already ripping at the seam, and I would put a strap on the case, similar to a case/bag for a camping chair."

"This is a well made and clever device-for you gadget junkies. I have used in big surfs and it remained rock steady.
My only complaint is that the carrying case needs to be constructed of tougher material and the stiching needs to be reinforced-my case has already startet to tear.
