"It's strong and holds a lot of flies. I really like how each individual part has its own lid so there's no risk of spilling out a bunch of flies if you drop it. But it's a bit bulky. If it was smaller (maybe if it was 2 10-compartment boxes) it would work out better for me."

"My former fly box was a bit clumsy to open not to mention flies coming off there holders and falling out upon opening. In this fly box, you can view all flies then, open the two sides then, open the selected compartment lid and pull the fly you want. It is that simple. No spill. No mess and no fuss! The box is well made and should last a lifetime. I have two but I will order two more for backup. Great organizer!"

"This is the only double-sided transparent fly box I have found. The best portable fly organizing method I've discovered - particularly useful when there are a variety of sizes in the same fly or similar patterns. Seems well-made, held up fine in my back pocket for a week of salt flats fishing. Surpising that I don't see more of these."

"I have been very impressed with the construction and function of this fly box. It is great to have a separate lid for each compartment to avoid dumping all your flies if you happen to drop the box or in a stiff wind. I can't comment on the long term durability since i've only had it a few weeks but for the price one season would make it worthwhile for all the fishing I do."

"This is also a great box for ultra lite spin fisherman. When trout fishing , holds most every lure , hooks, weights, etc.. Hinge is a bit too fragile. Convenience of this box fitting in a pocket and containing everything you need , folding out in front of you at the trout stream , can't be beat."

"Of the many fly boxes on the market, this one meets my needs the best (typical flies for western trout streams). It is surprisingly compact for the volume it provides. The individual compartments accomodate at least a dozen or more small dry flies (such as #18s), and a half dozen or more larger flies (such as #10s). The hinged design, with 10 compartments on each side, is easily stored in a vest pocket and easy to handle on the stream without losing flies. The snap closure on each compartment works very well, except for one which is a little bit loose (a manufacturing flaw apparently since all of my boxes have this minor problem). I have a half dozen of these boxes, and they are the only ones I buy anymore. These are the best value I have found in fly boxes and I highly recommend them."
