"I used to use the Rebel Pop-R but the bass started to get used to them and wouldn't bite and I wanted to try something more realistic so I chose this lure and I'm glad I did. It has the best action I've ever seen in a pop-r and the colors are great. The bass love this bait and so do I. The only problem I had was that I bought the small size and I couldn't cast it far at all but the bass still bit. I think this is your best bet for any lake, especially those that are used to pop-rs."

"I bought an XCalibur as my first popper. Have caught both smallmouth, largemouth bass, and even some gills as well. Great action. Skirt on trailing hook is durable. High price but wont dissapoint. If you want a bargain deal get the Fisherman series poopers by cabelas, but the Xcalibur is second to none in my book."

"Slammed the largemouths on this. Even caught an eel at dark. Never had that happen before. The schoolie stripers loved it also. This is a great bait. Only thing I like better is the Rebel Pop-R's . Its pretty much identical but doesnt hurt the wallet as much as this one does. There is no better action then topwater action."

"I bought one even though the thought of losing a ten dollar lure doesn't appeal to me. First time I fished it I slammed the large mouths. Worked so well I bought another in the same color just in case I lose the first one."
