"I am not "technologically challenged," but I will admit that trying to figure out how to take advantage of the features of my Garmin 60 CSx Handheld GPS is a bit overwhelming. Also, the instructional handbook that came with the unit is not very user friendly.
I thought an instructional video would be just the ticket. This DVD is not bad as far as basic operations go, but unfortunately it just skims the surface of the unit's capabilities. I wish they had a basic and advanced DVD. There is really nothing wrong with it, I just wish there was more."

"This is really a very good unit. From the start, I was impressed with the speed it would lock on to the satellites. I did run into some issues loading the topo maps. My computer has vista for an operating system, not to friendly. An updated driver download and mapsource download took care of some of the issues. A call to garmin and a few minutes later, maps are transfered and I'm up and running. I do wish the maps had more detail. Perhaps elevation changes at 50 feet instead of 100 feet. Great unit otherwise, very happy with the purchase. elksniper"

"I was wanting a GPS instructional guide for my recently purchased 60CSx. This dvd had some good insights, but I could have read the manual and figured them out. There were no tips/tricks like advertised and nothing about the topo software like advertised. It was more about water navagation. Not a good purchase. Waste of money. Also too many commercials."

"The video does have some good points to it and helped familiarize me with the unit. But, I feel Bennett Marine could have spent a little bit more time being involved with the unit and spent less time advertising their other video products. I feel as if I paid for a big commercial. If I could do it all over again I would just read the units operating manual."
