"This CD is for a beginner, but that is what I am. I read a lot on the internet about how to build a rod and then ordered a kit from Cabelas. After building the rod, but before finishing it, I ordered the CD to see if I was on the right track. If you read the Cabelas instructions and view this CD all questions you have regarding basic building will probably be answered. I gave the CD 5 stars for what it is. A basic and solid introducton to rod building. The CD does not go past the basic foundation needed to build a rod."
