"I ordered my 343c Portable Sonar from Cabelas and as it was my first time ordering from them, I was worried about the shipping time and condition. Well it showed up in less then half the time they said to allow for delivery and was packed very well. As for the Humminbird 343c great unit. Its the third sonar I have owned and the best. Since I bought my new trolling motor have tried everything to solve the interference noise with my Lowrance units, since I bought my new Humminbird no problems with interference. Plus being able to see the thermo cline and bait schools on screen is awesome. This unit is also compatible with an ice transducer XI 9 20 so this will now replace my flasher unit. Better than my old x67 in every way period!"

"I bought this as a boat mounted unit, the unit worked good the first couple of times but then it would not start up and would have lines on the screen, it would kick on after a few minutes. We used it like this 2 more times and then it would not turn on at all. the unit was replaced and this one works fine but if it does it again I will return this unit and buy another brand."

"I was ice fishing for Lake Trout in northern Manitoba Canada. We were fishing in 100 ft of water. I was able to see my lure and any fish that happened to pass by. Having the sonar show the fish suspended at different depths allowed me to bring my lure right into fishes strike zone. Almost always triggering a hit. It really makes me wonder how many fish I was missing with out sonar. A friend an older sonar but wasn't able to pick everything up so crisp and clear. Definitely a good investment."
