"This is the best and lightest vest i have ever wore. I received the vest about three weeks ago and now have used it two whole days fishing and I didn't realize i even had it on. I usually wear a large but ordered the 2xl and 4xl and it is a perfect fit. recomend ordering a larger size than you usually wear. I sure like the way Cabela's operate in shipping and in all phases of the business."

"I am somewhat neutral on this product. I ordered & received the XL and sent it back because it was too small. It was replaced with a XXL, it to was too small. I'm 6' and weigh 230, most of my clothing fits me in XL with XXL being somewhat baggy. If the product fit it would be good. Maybe Cabela's needs to review their sizing charts for this one."

"I got this PDF for my husband. He is 6' 4" tall and weighs about 230. The XXL life jacket was a good fit for him. It is adjustable enough that he can wear it in warm weather over a t-shirt or let out the straps and put it over a heavy jacket when it gets colder. So far we haven't flipped our kayak so we haven't tested the bouyancy of the vest but it seems very sturdy. The arm holes are large enough to allow for easy paddling maneuvers but not so large that the vest could slip off. The mesh at the shoulders is comfortable and allows a lot of freedom of movement. Since he does most of the paddling in our tandem kayak, this is good for me too! The pockets in the vest are handy for waterproof necessities like coins for a vending machine or car keys. The vest looks nice too. It replaces those orange ugly kind that you get when you rent a boat or travel on a ferry. All in all, we are both happy with the purchase."

"I recently bought 2 of these vests for use on a 100 mile paddle up the Allagash Waterway. These vests were light and well ventilated due to the mesh construction. My son and I paddled for 5 days straight wearing these vests and no complaints. I like the pockets in front for the camera, in a ziplock bag of course, and energy snacks.
