Site Lite SL-150

This combo makes it easy to put a new scope on your rifle and get it on paper faster than ever before. Before you head to the range, get superior boresighting accuracy using the latest laser technology. The SL-150 Ultra-Mag boasts an Ultrabrite 635NM laser for increased visibility. Runs off of a lithium battery extending battery life to ensure years of reliable use. Super-strong magnets in the arbor securely centers the laser in the muzzle for consistent accuracy. Unique system of adapters and O-rings fit all .22-.50-caliber handguns and rifles; 20- and 12-gauge shotguns and muzzleloaders. Designed so no metal touches the rifling of your firearm. To boresight, place the target 25 feet from the muzzle and center the laser on the target. Dial in the scope's crosshairs and you're boresighted for 100 yards. We all have the same problem when it comes to mounting scopes. They just don't go on straight. The Reticle Leveler helps you get it right the first time. Its two-piece design allows it to be used on compact scopes with very low mounts as well as with 56mm objectives on very high mounts and everything in between. Takes the frustration out of the scope mounting process.

Bore Sighting Made Easy, December 30, 2008

"This is a great tool to get on paper. I have used it for a number of my guns and for others at the range. It is easy to use and works very well if you follow the instructions. It makes sighting in your gun easy and you use a lot less ammunition. A word of caution. Do pay attention to using grease on the rings that go in the barrel of your gun. It works much easier. Bore sighting has never been easier.

"The Site Lite SL 150 is an excellent product, but the instructions and multiple caliber rubber rings do make it confusing to use. On the rings that are close in size I would recommend different colors on the rings, matching silhouettes and ring mounting sites, to reduce most of the confusion. A tutorial on a DVD would probably be in order."

"Sited in my rifle, shotguns, and muzzleloaders in record time, using far less ammo to do so! I used a Leupold magnetic in the past with catastrophic results, wasting a lot of ammo. This is all speed work, it puts you so close, leaves little adjusting to do."

"Got this to save ammo, and it sure does!. Read the directions several times,(just to be sure I didn't miss anything) Boresighted my old '06 (in the house),went to the range and took a shot--- I was only an inch low and 2 inches right , at a hundred yards !!!!!! Just a couple clicks-- hey I'm done. Called my buddy who was having trouble with his 45 cal. muzzleloader. Using the SL-150 we discovered that the guy who had installed his scope, had tightened the rings TOO TIGHT and actually Bent the scope tube. (It wouldn't align with the laser dot) .I took the scope off and replaced it with a reddot scope I had. Aligned everything as per instructions that came with the laser; took a shot at the range -- no need for another-- It was right on !! He got a deer with it the very next day. The only draw-back to owning one of these (SL-150) and having your hunting buddies find out, is that you can't blame your gun or scope for a miss anymore!!."

"The SL-150 comes in a solid black plastic case. It allows you to mount your scope on your rifle in the comfort of your home and hit the paper when you go to the range for final adjustment. I also like the scope leveling target. It really distracts me when the crosshairs are not perfectly level/vertical. The price is a little bit high, but it certainly works as advertised."

"The tool is pretty neat, it allowed me to sight in my scope in the comfort of my own house. All I needed was about 25' of space. You put their "special target" 25 feet away, and sight in your rifle. Took it out to the range for finishing touches, and I was off by 5" at 25 yds. For the price of this tool, I would like it to be closer to zero than that.

Fits .223 as it comes, and comes with washers to fit various calibers. Also comes with a horizontal adjustment tool, but that's unnecessary. You match the laser to the horizontal line on the target, then match your scope to the laser. Why not just cut out the middle man and just match your scope the the horizontal line?

You're better off going for the cheaper one that does not come with the horizontal adjustment tool."

"The SL-150 is as easy as 1-2-3. Pull it out, secure the correct washer on the laser, line up the included target at 25 feet, and make your scope adjustments accordingly. I have used the SL-150 to sight in my rifles as well as my father and brother's rifles. After sighting in our rifles, we have all had success in our whitetail hunts, all thanks to the SL-150."
