"I had never installed this type of accessory on a vehicle before so it was kind of a challenge. The installation instructions that are included are very vague i believe. So my advice is take your time and try and lay everything out before you start. For the people who said it took them 15, 20 or even 30 minutes I believe you are a true miracle for automotive work. For myself it took me and my neighbor who has been an auto mechanic for over 20 years it took us almost 2 hours to finally understand the directions."

"I recommend this product highly now that I have it installed. The big "but" about this is that the instructions were lacking in detail, and a bit of trial and error along with a little rocket science, I was able to install the step bars with only a slight pain in the neck. I think that from start to finish it took me about an hour and a half. they went on smoothly after a bit and they look great on the truck. The best part was when my wife first stepped into the truck cab, she loved that it was easier to get in."

"These tub steps are ok, but not top quality. The rubber step pads seem to be a bit on the flimsy side but time will tell if they are durable. Instructions were vague but installation was not to difficult when all the parts were laid out for each side."

"I LOVE them! I got them in a VERY timely manner. They arrived as advertised. The instructions were the wrong ones but a quick phone call to Cabelas and a few transfers got the correct ones to me within a few minutes! Installation? Less than an hour! (In the rain!!!) VERY impressed!! Buy 'Em!"

"Bought for a 2008 Silverado 2500 HD Crew Cab. Great looking product and easy to install. There was only one problem. On the rear drivers side bracket it tells you to anchor it to the frame like on the passenger side. The problem occurred when mounting the bracket and finding that the emergency brake ran through hole needed. Seems sturdy enough without. However cutting into the washers will suffice"

"The tube steps (Nerf bars) for my 2008 Ford Super Crew are easily installed along with clear instructions, I put them on by myself and it took me a little over an hour for the entire process, it would have been shorter but it was cold out and I aint as young as I used to be! To date, the product seems to be of good quality, I will follow up if something changes. Over all a good buy for what you get, you can spend a lot more for a lot less!"

"Easy installation (took me about an hour and a half on my own), great looks, and will hopefully be tough like the Cabelas ones I had on my last truck. I don't think these are quite as wide as some others, but unless you are really looking for that, it's not a big deal - I don't notice it. For the price, you can't beat them."
