"Replacement seats are not easy to find. These seats are "good" as I rated them. They look nice and were easy to install. The durable poly frame material will avoid the wood rot that was the cause for replacement. The plastic corner gaurds on the seats were poorly stapled, in fact one fell off during installation, but can be easily re-attached. The price and the quality meet, but do not excede expectations."

"great seats. very rugged base and a breeze to install. color almost matched our boat to a T. a bonus is that the seats are not quite as wide as the originals, so we have gained a great deal of space on our boat! one drawback, because of this, is if you are a larger size, and plan on using the seats for reclining, they might not be wide enough."

"Received the boxes delivered directly to my house 7 days after I ordered them. Considering having to go through customs at the Canada/USA border that was great timing. The seats are somewhat smaller than the "sleeper seats" of the older model boats (60's-70's) but worked well in my situation as it gave me about 4-6" of more space towards the fishing area at the back of the boat. The seats are made with a very strong, tight, durable material and are very comfortable. My friends commented on the look, style and comfort as well; all good. I had to modify the seat box to form to the contour of the hull but it was easy to do considering the plastic construction. The only drawback I could see to these seats were that the staples they used were not stainless steel which perhaps the manufacturer will change in the future. I bought stainless staples for 10 bucks and restapled to prevent rusting. Overall I would recommend these seats to anyone."

"Overall rating is good based on quality, ease of installation, and was the lowest price over comparable seats in other catalogs with considertaion of the nearly free shipping. While not a direct replacement for original equipment on my '87 Larson, these seats are adequate (size and color match) except for the fact that they fold out in only one direction. In other words, to lounge, I had to set the passenger seat further forward than the original as the seat unfolds from the back end with the forward end remaining in place as opposed to OEM seat that folded out from the midpoint of the seat in fore and aft directions. Also, remove the plastic shipping cups protecting the bottom 4 corners of the seat as you may get stabbed from the staples when attempting to set the seat in a lounge position."

"We really love our new seats! We have a 1978 Crestliner and they make it look amazing. The comfort and stability they have added to the boat was more than worth the price. The previously mentioned corner protectors are supposed to come off because they protect the vinyl during shipping and installation. The shipping was swift, the assembly easy and the installation simple. We would strongly encourage any individual who wants a quality product at a reasonable cost to purchase these! Happy boating!"

"I had this product shipped to Alberta, Canada, it was very easy to have this done. Cabela's shipped by air mail and courier and was very fast about 4 days. The shipping prices where the best I have found for any company out of the US. The product is not the best quality and seats are a little bit narrow. However, for the price you pay you are getting a decent product. If you are looking for a great product I would upgrade to a better seat, but good bang for buck."

"The seats came well packaged and in good condition. Installation was simple. The grey is a very light grey and much lighter than the advertised grey. The boat has been used one time and already four of the lower plastic corner protectors have come off. They are poorly installed."

"My old 1966 Pipestone really looks great with the new seats I bought from Cabela's. They were really a bit too tall for the old girl but with my table saw and a bit of luck I was able to cut them down to size. The construction is excellent, made with materials that will not rust or rot. These should serve us well for many years."

"The experience from when I ordered the seats to receiving them, I live in Edmonton Alberta, was first class. The seat were exactly as shown and of good quality. There was one problem with them and that is that there is no way to lock the seats in the upright position so if you lean back on them, they slide down. I had to run a strap around the entire seat to rectify."

"The seats are very nice. However, they don't match up very well with the seats I am replacing. The seats are overall the same height and lenght as my original seat but since the base is 10 inches, which is 2 inches higher then my original seats, the actual seat is 2 inches smaller. Both the back and the seat. I will be sending them back. I am disappointed. The catalog does says 10 inch base but I really did not know how that was going to affect me until I had the seat in my boat. T M Thompson"

"Cabela's Thank you for sending my boat seats. Unfortunatly I found rot problems in the floor section of my newly purchased boat and have not yet installed them. The seats are beautiful and I can't wait to install them. I was told by several local upholsterers that they could not compete pricewise and I would add the quality is every bit as good. Thanks Cabela's for the quality I expect at a fair price (or better), and excellent customer service, as usual."
