"I recently bought my Frabill Areator from Cabelas for me and my sons to use for ice fishing. I only got to use it 5 or 6 times this year but it woks awesome. At one time I had a dozen Sucker Minnows and two dozen Crappie minnows in it and they lasted all day without any dying. We used it in my Frabill minnow bucket on some 50+ degree days and never had a problem. I would recommend this product to anyone. I also like the light on it when it's dark,it helps a lot."

"I hesitate to give this a full five star rating for two reasons. I have only used it for three trips so durability which is the downfall of most aerators has not truly been tested. The other reason is the on switch can be finicky from time to time. It always ends up coming on but the click to on is not positive and immediate. However the features I really find better than other pumps are battery life and quiet operation. This is the best one I have purchased so far and I have used three other aerators."

"granted, fishing in a salt water environment is tough on equipment. i assumed that aerators always broke down quickly, because the other very popular brand i was using would fizzle out after a few weeks, usually the switch, sometimes the motor would seize up and need to be whacked or jiggled to get going, and soon would be just done. i thought that's what i had to deal with. then i found the frabill, the basic aerator, for $13. i bought a few because i assumed they would be junk like the rest, but the extras are still in the box a year later. the first one has never faltered. it's quiet, pumps strong, goes for two days or more on 2 batteries. it has been splashed, soaked, run for 48 hours straight numerous times and is still cranking like the day i bought it. i cannot recommend it highly enough!"

"This is a great aerator that I use on a ten gallon bucket. The battery lasts for HOURS, very efficient. And even though it says it isn't waterproof it withstands tons of splashes and rain. And out of 100 minnows, only about 1 or 2 die (and I doubt that it is because of areration issues)."
