This new mounting system has a much lower profile than traditional bases so you can rig your boat without exposed hardware, resulting in a much cleaner look. The Flush-Mount is secured using the nylon nut from below your gunwale and will fit any gunwales up to 2-1/4" thick. Some drilling required.
