"Bought the Emotion Charger for my 11 year old son. Found it to be very "tippy" for both he and older teens. Very hard to enter from the water without assistance to stablize. Seems to have a fairly high center of gravity. He greatly prefers our Ocean Kayak 13' Prowler or Preception 13'. Son is able to able to handle both with ease."

"I LOVE MY KAYAK! I USE IT MOSTLY IN LAKES IN THE STEAMBOAT SPRINGS AREA. I'VE FOUND IT TO BE EXTREMELY STABLE NO MATTER IF I'M GLIDING ALONG ON A MIRROR LIKE SURFACE OR FIGHTING WAVES UP TO MY EYEBALLS. IT'S SO EASY TO USE AND CALMING AND ENJOYABLE. I FIND THAT IT TRACKS VERY WELL. IT'S A GREAT PLACE TO EAT A PICNIC LUNCH. I TRANSPORT IT IN THE BACK OF MY ROADTREK CAMPER AND AM ABLE TO LOAD AND UNLOAD AND CARRY IT BY MYSELF. IT'S THE PURPLE ONE. I'VE USED IT FOR TWO YEARS AND AM ADDICTED TO KAYAKING NOW."

"I have a few years experience with kayaks and have owned two others than this one. I had bought this for a friend to go with me on short float trips. once I had tried it myself I realised how uncomfortable and hard to controll this unit was. It tracks well enough but is fairly unstable. In the end, you get what you pay for."

"I was very suprised at how stable this yak was and it paddles and tracks very well for being so short.I purchased this after seeing one online rigged up for fishing.This will be a good one for the short distance fishing trips.I have a Prowler 13 but wanted something I could load in the back of the truck for quik outings.Texas law only allows 4 feet hanging out the back of trucks.With my 6 foot bed it keeps me in the legal limit.This kayak is a very good bang for the buck.I am very pleased with it and know the fishermen who want a small yak will be pleased.It looks like it would be fun for play also.I'm 6' 165lbs. and my legs strech out straight with no bend in the knees so I'm guessing it will handle someone taller than me just fine, wich is also hard to find in a short yak.Check other forums online under kayak reviews and see many happy buyers.I research reviews on kayaks allways before I buy one and think many should so there not unhappy with it after the fact.For the price I can't imagine anyone not likeing this yak.Check with Cabela's, I think they give you 30 days to bring it back if you don't like it (undamaged of course).But you will keep it when you see the NO ZIG ZAGGY tracking that most short yaks have.I believe this has to do with the V shape of the hull.One thing, is that this V shape hull will not ride as shallow as my Prowler 13 footer. I've had the Prowler in 4" of water and the hull did not hit bottom.I think the Charger might drag bottom allthouh I have not tried it yet that shallow.Speed is good for this short of a yak...Tracks well (no bad zig zag) HIGHLY recomended, and two thumbs up for the price on what I believe to be a well designed yak."

"The Emotion Charger is a first-time kayak purchase. Definitely recreational only. Touring kayakers will not like the sacrifice of speed/tracking/extra effort necessary for fitness. It's a trade-off. But a first-time buyer or a child will be pleased."
