"Got my STABILicers a day or 2 before a snow storm. I decided to test them and did my usual mile walk to the train station. The traction was great and the snow and ice did not slow me down.
After a couple of trips I was pretty amazed that the 'cleats' showed very little signs of wear even after walking on cement and asphalt.
These are going to be part of my winter gear for a long time."

"I ordered an extra-small based on the sizing given in the product description. These were so small that I couldn't fit them over my boots nor a walking shoe. In fact, the sizing was so off, I didn't feel good about exchanging for another guess about which size might work. For sure, you should order larger than you think you need--perhaps as much as two sizes up. Good luck!"

"These work well to prevent slipping. However, on uneven icy and snowy surfaces such as farm yards, I found they tended to come off and need replacing frequently, even while using the velcro-type fastener. On flat icy surfaces they tended to stay on most, if not all, of the time. Perhaps they also run a little small if you are wearing hunting-type boots."

"I hike on icy/snowy hills every day for exercise and these things are amazing. I have never slipped or lost my footing once. I've had them pop off twice but they are very easy to pop back on. These cleats were more expensive than others but the quality definitely seems to be there. I'm a big guy and I can rip up a pair of cleats pretty quick. These things seem to be tough enough for the long haul. If you want quality and durability then spend the extra money and go for these."

"I have previously used similar, but cheaper, products, with so so results. But these work great. I even used them when shoveling snow off of a pitched metal roof, and had confident footing. Replaceable cleats means that they should last a long time. I ordered the Large, and have no trouble fitting them over my size 11.5 Danner boots."

"Stabilicers Sport Snow and Ice Cleats were well worth the money. Come spring where I live the snow is melting but the nights are cold, so many mornings there is a sheet of ice over the ground. When I put on the Stabilicers I can walk normally without feeling like I have to be caucious with my steps so I don't fall. Having previous injuries this takes the worry out of getting the chores done even when it's icy out."
