EMT Gel/Spray a must,November 4, 2009

"EMT gel is a must for any serious dog owner. I just finished 4 days in North Dakota hunting upland birds, without EMT Gel available for the dogs pads we would have had to cut the hunting short. On the third day the dogs pads started to show signs of wear and were tender to the touch, I was ready to call it quits on the fact that I was concerned for the dogs. After cleaning and applying EMT Gel to their pads, the dogs did not exhibit tenderness and the areas of concern were covered and did not breakdown. The following day the dogs were able to keep hunting and we did limit out on birds. With the EMT Gel the dogs never ended up with worn out pads, EMT Gel saved their paws and saved our hunt."

"I've been using EMT GEL for a few years now & love it. When I saw the spray, I had to try it. Seems to work great on my dogs. My 1/2 brittany 1/2 pointer has an allergy problem & has a raw spot on his neck, the spray is very convenient to use & seems to be working great. The only problem I have with the stuff is, it STINKS! But overall, good stuff."

"My dog somehow cut one of her nails in half. This was a pretty bad break. The quik was showing and bleeding very badly. I put EMT spray on it and in two days I knew that I didn't need to worry about an infection anymore.

"After reading the writeup's about the EMT gel, we first bought the gel for an addition to the Fist Aid kit as the dogs can get as many nicks and scrapes as we have training and hunting. We were dog sitting a hound that suffered a stick punctured that was bleeding heavily. Smeared the wound with the GEL and off to the Vets - the Vet was amazed with the effects and the protective properties of the product... few stitches later and he was no worse for wear - could have been a major situation. We added the spray to the kits, we always have a few bottles about for cleansing/ protecting nicks and cuts when the gel is overkill or use the spray for irregating a wound before using the gel - a good enough for the dog, good enough for me approach. Makes a most appreciated gift to most all "dog" people who spend time outdoors! Sooner or later it will be used - almost guarenteed"

"It was November 11, 2006 on opening day of deer season. I had killed a 9 point with a drop tine. While cutting the rib cage the knife slipped and cut my finger to the bone. I was bleeding pretty bad and could not get it to stop. We applied the EMT spray and the bleeding stopped. This allowed us to super glued it together, applied a butterfly bandaid and I was back in action. Thanks EMT!!!!"
