  • Fully multicoated
  • Phase coated
  • A lifetime of fogproof, waterproof performance
  • Half Pentagonal and Schmidt design roof prisms
  • From fine cars to binoculars, precision craftsmanship has been the hallmark of European manufacturing for centuries. Although this meticulous attention to detail slows the manufacturing process, it results in products with unparalleled performance and dependability. That Old World craftsmanship is the reason Cabela's recently teamed with a major European manufacturer to produce this new line of high-performance binoculars. The result of this unique partnership was precise optical clarity that can only come from high-end European glass at a price that could be offered only at Cabela's the World's Legendary Outfitter™. All lenses are fully multicoated using a revolutionary Ion Assisted lens coating for optimum light transmission. In addition, they also incorporate half-pentagonal and Schmidt roof prisms. This combination results in brilliant color definition and crisp edge-to-edge image clarity that rivals the most elite binoculars to come out of Europe. We then housed all this optical performance in a sleek, ergonomically designed aluminum-alloy body protected by a rugged layer of rubber armor to reduce carrying weight while still keeping them fully protected from rough use. Because each pair is completely nitrogen-purged and then sealed, they're guaranteed to provide a lifetime of fogproof, waterproof performance. Other features include twist-up eyecups and a convenient oversized center focus wheel with an integrated adjustable diopter for instantaneous one-handed focusing.

    Euro Binoculars, November 19, 2009
    By LightHiker from Tennessee

"I purchased these binos after reading the good reviews. I was on a elk hunt in the Gila and, after a long hike I raised the binos and the fogged from my perspiration! This was a problem throught my hunt. When I returned home I called Cabelas and the optics dep. recomended I treat them with a anti-fog solution. I did and the wipes left a residue on the lense that decreased their preformance. I returned them. Cabelas customer service is outstanding."

"Excellent for low light conditions and extremely clear (10 power), both have exceeded my expectations. Decided to spend some extra money with the intent of this being my last binoc purchase and an investment. I have had the binoculars for approximately 1 month and have been extremely happy with them so far."

    Nice Glass, October 15, 2009
    By VarMitt from Willows, Ca.

"Bought these for a friend who has helped me with a Flat Fender Jeep restoration. I selected the Euro's on the basis of Cabela's good reputation and all the positive reviews. My friend and I both think the clarity is excellent, especially in low light situations. Two cons that caused the 4 instead of 5 stars: the poor designed lens caps and to a lesser extent; the case could be better."

Clear and Wide Views, October 1, 2009
By Vicgrand from Lower Hudson Valley, New York

"The first time I looked through my Cabela's Euro Binocular I was amazed at the brilliance and wide width of the view. I must admit that I had trouble looking through the binocular at first. Unlike most other binoculars which you just put to your eyes and look through, with the Euro Binocular you have to figure out the best way to hold them to see clearly. The eye cups are shorter than other binoculars, so you have to keep your eyes away from the lenses, even with the eye cups almost all the way out. Too far out and they fall off. I press the upper part of the eye cups against my head above my eyes for good viewing.
I tried out the Euro binoculars many times and find them extremely bright with high resolution, and a very wide field of view for their 10 power. I plan to use them on upcoming trips. These binoculars are a great value, comparable to binoculars I have tried for more than twice the price.

    Euro Binoculars, September 13, 2009
By DennyRA from Point Richmond, California

"I have recently recieved and had a chance to use the binoculars hunting. What fun! The clarity is outstanding. In low light conditions you see clearly and pick up the fine details of your viewing area.
I would have rated this product 5 stars but I downgraded the rating because of the weight of the binoculars. This not a great inconvience because of the many carry systems availabe to the buyer.
I love them and regret not buying them sooner.

    Awesome Bino's, September 10, 2009
By UU2004 from Salt Lake City, Utah

"I've only had them out once but was completely satisfied with the binoculars. They are great in low light as I was spotting deer at almost dark in the high Utah mountains. The clarity was amazing and I was able to glass for a much longer time. They are a bit heavier than I would like, but wouldn't trade them and it isn't anything a bino harness won't correct.

Would definately refer this to any of my friends and family. The price seems steep, but compared to others it is quite low and seems to be equal.

    Euros-Oregon review, July 27, 2009
By LBR97 from The Dalles, Oregon

"Like others on this website, I waited and tested as many optics as I could over a span of 10 months before finally purchasing the Euros. I knew I could never afford the Swaros, Leicas, or new Nikon's, so I decided I would spend between 500-800 dollars. That seemed to be the next threshold below the big money optics.

Over the year, I looked at Bushnell, Leupold, Pentax, Monica (I belive is the name), Zeiss (way overrated in my opinion), Brunton, Vortex, Burris, Cabelas Euro, and Nikon. I have to say personally the Nikon Monarch X is extremely impressive, especially for the money. The fact that it has only a 25 year warranty swayed me away. In my opinion, the overall best glass, service (which is extremely important to me), warranty, and feel has to be the Euro's. As I hunt in the Blue Mountains of Eastern Oregon, I knew I would need glass that is good in timber, great on open ridges, can stand 90 degree heat and sub-zero temps.

Overall, I am extremely impressed. I even liked the bag it came in and the strap. The eye cups are "strange," however it is what it is........for the price, deal with it.

In conclusion, the two best optics for the price that I reviewed were the Nikon Monarch X and the Cabelas Euro.

    Thanks Cabelas!

Simply the best!, July 18, 2009
By Lynviking from Chino Hills, Ca

"I decided that it was time to trade in my old Steiner binoculars for a higher quality pair of binoculars. I wanted the best money could buy, so I did much research on binoculars before purchasing. I went to Cabela's and literally compared these binoculars, side by side, with the Swarovski EL 10X42's. I could not see any appreciable difference in ether clarity or brightness, betwen the teo. The only real difference was the price tag. The Swarovski's were almost twice the price of the Euro's.

I then researched the Euro's and Swarovski's on Cabela's web site and watched the video, wherein they tested the Euro's by viewing a "Resolution Chart." The Euro's scored the, "highest score they had ever seen." Now, I would assume that Cabela's performed a similiar test with the Swarovski's, right?

I then checked to see if a similiar test was performed on the Swarovski's and found no video. Hmmmm, why wouldn't they perform the identical test on the Swarovski's and post a video with the test results, like they did for the Euro's??? In light of the aforementioned, the Euro's apparently scored higher than the Swarovski's. Good enough for me, I bought the Euro's.

A week later, one of our hunting buddies joined us at the range and was showing off his new, you guessed it.... Swarovski EL 10X42's. Well, I couldn't resist. So, I had two of our other buddies look through them both and neither could tell the difference.

So, if you want a pair of binoculars that rival the name brand, for half the cost, then I highly recommend the Cabela's Euro's.

    Optical Quality & Value, July 6, 2009
By SplitHoof from Edge of Madness

"The optical quality of this product is outstanding, and worth the cost. After viewing for extended time periods, there is no eye-strain or fatigue. Images remain sharp and focused. Construction is heavy duty and rugged, as evidenced by the weight and solid feel. We have used this pair of binoculars for extended periods of low-light surveilance, and were able to observe subjects who might have been missed with a lesser quality pair. Compact size allows them to be kept in many gear bags. To protect this equipment, we use a Pelican 1150 case. That leaves just enough room for the excellent chest harness strap."

Cabelas Euro Binocs, May 12, 2009
    By LennyC

"We're really happy with the Euro binocs. The optics are great. The only negative is the screw-out eye recesses. They only come out a little and if you screw them out too far they fall out. They certainly could have been designed better. But that said, the clear and bright optics more than make up for that minor annoyance. They are great for bird watching. We're seeing details that we never saw before with binocs. It's every bit as clear as our Leica spotting scope."

"These binoculars are a great product and the price is even better. I compared thes to a buddy's binocs, the "big S" word and we both agreed that these were by far the way too go for the money. Clarity of these glasses is great!! I would highly recommend these to anyone who is serious about buying a top of the line pair of binoculars."

    Great Glass, March 8, 2009
By DRE2009 from San Diego, CA

"WOW. Stop looking and buy this glass. I did tons of field research and i finally went with these. Stop wasting your time and get a pair of these. Two of my buddies have Zeiss Conquests and Leicas Geovid rangefinders. The Euros are just as good if not better than both of these in low light conditions. Here is the breakdown. The Euros don't have locking eye cups (if you don't wear glasses than don't worry about it). The ocular adjustments might not be as precise as the Leica and Zeiss but the glass is every bit as good. Comparing them side by side at evening and dusk, the Euros have even better light gathering capabilities than the others do. They are a good weight and nice to handle. I wear a bino harness with them and you don't even know they are around you neck. Talking to people at Meopta i found out that Swarovski is going to outsource their glass production to Meopta for 2009. It makes sense, the costs of production are much less in the Czech Rebublic than in Germany."

    Euro binoculars, February 16, 2009
    By Awke from Eastern Washington

"I've owned my Euro 10 X 42 binoculars for two years. I hunted deer and elk in Oregon and Idaho, both years, so they got a good test. I've used every concievable brand of binoculars over the years and would put my Euros up against any of them.

They have great light gathering quality and the clarity of them is unsurpassed.

I they are as good as any of the higher priced brands, at half the price.
