"Great product, my 7 year old son loves it! I like the fact that the lever action is made out of metal and will last is a plus. The caps aren't too loud which I like. Get plenty of caps!"

"With such a quality built rifle, it is a shame that the scope isn't also made out of metal. One accidental drop and the whole thing snapped off. Nice rifle, solidly built otherwise, but needs a metal scope in our opinion."

"We bought this for our 5 year old son for Christmas. It was, by far, his favorite gift. It is made really well. It has good weight and is very durable. He loves the scope. I can't imagine how excited he'll be when we get around to getting him caps for it...Santa forgot;-)"

"If a toy rifle can live up to the expectations of not only my six year old son, but also his thirty-one year old dad, you know you are offering your customers the best product they could hope for. The Jefferson Toy Rifle is a great looking, very high quality piece, that is a perfect tool for teaching our little hunter about handling a rifle, the use of a scope, and most importantly about gun safety. Every stuffed animal in our home has been bagged and served to me piping hot with a hunting story big enough to make even grandpa say 'Well, I'll be!'"

"my 10 yr old son just loves it! he carries it with him while walking with his father who hunts for turkeys. the rifle is also a cap gun, and it works great. it looks very real and is made solid. we are all very happy with the purchase. it was by far his favorite birthday gift."

Looks nice ,quit firing caps after one day,November 25, 2006

"My son bought this rifle with his own money at a competitor of Cabela's. The rifle looks very nice with real metal. However after one day of shooting many caps the rifle quit firing. I took the rifle apart and thought the insides not much good. My son still enjoys playing with the rifle but would like it much better if it still shot caps."
