"Sling is very good looking and well made - however the connector holding the thumb loop was so tight I has to cut off the thumb loop and use pliers to get the connector off. I don't use the loop so cutting it off and replacing the connector was not a big issue for me - howerver it is a quality issue!!
I have used another Browning Horse Hair Sling for the past four years deer hunting in Northern Minnesota. The slings work very well and stay on the shoulder over a heavy hunting parka.
Adjusted to the proper length the do work in the "wrap around the arm" mode for off-hand shooting.
A good rifle ( Sako 75 Hunter ) deserves a good sling - this new sling looks great on the rifle and I know from experience that it works in the field."

"This is the thrid Browning horsehair sling I've purchased. I bought the first one because I thought it would look great on an old Savage 99 I wanted to use for hunting. Not only did it look great, it really was comfortable the loop made for an easy carry. Great sling! Thanks also to Cabelas for fast service."
