"I was a little disappointed with the case. I bought Boyt on a recommendation from a friend who has several Boyt cases. The difference between his and mine, they are the same series, is that his are older, pre buyout. Boyt was bought out, and the quality is not the same. The stitching and the material is good, but the zipper is horrorable. It is larger than the old ones, but does not work nearly as smooth. It was folded when it was shipped, and now ALWAYS gets caught in that spot. Even the rest of the zipper does not work smoothly. I bought the shotgun version of this case to, and it does the exact same thing! I have several guns, and gun cases, and all of them work better than this case, at a fraction of the price. A design aspect that I don't agree with, is that the zipper is on the bottom. All of the other cases I own, there are new and old, have the zipper on the top. I personally think this is easier for access, and the gun does not rest on the zipper when being carried, thus less chance of scratching you weapon."

"May be made one at a time, but not in the USA, made in korea last four years. Zipper did not work. You can buy two of Cabelas brand for the price. Over priced for being made over seas."

"The case works great and fits my Remington 700 just fine, side pocket provides convenient storage for ammo. The case is good looking with attractive leather trim and brass zipper, best of all it provides the protection I need transporting my rifle and is functional."

"This is a great all around gun case, it is well crafted and made of sturdy weather proof canvas that will hold up for many years to come. The inside is covered with sheep skin to insure your gun does not get scratched. I am going to own one of these for each of my guns!"
