Easy to use,

"I recently purchased 2 of these units to put in my safe. The package arrived promptly in the mail and I immediately began the charging process. I was surprised at how hot the units get when plugged in. They will not cause a burn by any stretch, but they are indeed hot. I have had my units in my safe for several weeks at a time, and have not noticed any considerable discoloring of the moisture absorbing crystals. At this point, I am pleased with how well they are removing moisture and have convinced several others to purchase the units as well.
I highly reccomend this product based on the outstanding job it is doing for me. Thank you Cabela's, for another great product!"

"Internal moisture absorbing beads change color to pink after a couple of weeks so it seems to be working well. Only time and lack of rust will prove its effectiveness - hopefully its cheap insurance."

"Remington mod#365 dehumidifier I took it out of the box charged it up & it has been working fine ever since. My safe isn't that large but all my gun's are rust free. I am glad I got it no worries now. When I heard Cabela's was offering a free membership in the N.R.A. to all of it's employee's I knew that was the kind of company I wanted to do business with. "This product works as stated. I've been using mine for five weeks and have not needed to re-generate it yet, the color in the window is changing as it should. I do need to remove it from it's unlit location to view the window under room lighting. Mine did have a manufacturers' defect and Cabela's sent me a new one which arrived in three days. Thanks again Cabela's!"

"Well worth the money! I live in a dry climate where humidity is not much of a concern but still, low humidity within a gun safe can cause problems over time especially when one has antique guns from the late eighteen-hundreds along with modern day guns. I have two, one for the guns and the other for all loading supplies. It is now into the seventh week from the last charge and still in the blue. Great protection and insurance to say the least."

"i bought this with the addition of my new 27gun safe.The dehumidifier works, but saturates quickly in the Pennsylvaia humiditiy even though i was running another dehumidifierin the basement. I am considering buying an electric one since i have to dry this one out at least once a week."

"I bought a 28 long gun safe and needed a dehumidifier. A few old guns had some surface rust on them. After putting the humidifier in the safe the rust never returned. Unfortunately I do have to plug it in almost every 3 weeks, but it works."

"I've used this dehumidifier over the past summer and it has worked great. I haven't found any rust or mold on any of my guns or slings. Lasts a little over a week when it is really humid before it needs to be dried. It also works better when you remember to unplug it and put it back in the safe."

"I have been looking for something like this for quite sometime and was not aware that this product existed. I have my gun safe where there is not an electrical outlet, so this product was definitely the answer. If this will truly last 10 years my problem has been solved. I like the convenience of watching the humidifier and simply plugging into an electrical to rejuvinate thre crystals. So far I am very pleased with this product. Cabelas always seems to have the products I am looking for. Thank You Cabelas,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,"

"The product needs recharging about once a week in a sealed 16 gun safe. I open it usually daily and I live in the south but use AC all year to keep inside house humidity low as possible. With two of these you would likely only have to recharge once every 2-3 weeks which would be better."

"I hope they make these thing bigger so I don't have to re-charge them so often. I put four of these thing in a 500 pound safe and have to re-charge it every couple days. Works great though."
