In 1861, Dr. Richard Gatling developed a hand-crank operated, multibarrel firearm destined to become the world's first gun capable of firing multiple rounds in sustained bursts. This kit enables you to capture a taste of what it must have been like to fire the legendary Gatling gun by converting two Ruger 10/22 rifles (not included) into a twin-barrel modern rendition in .22 caliber. Fun and affordable to shoot, the machined aluminum kit features bronze bushings, a trigger bar on thrust bearing, aluminum receiver covers, anti-aircraft-style sights, swivel feet, barrel guards, muzzle brakes and limit screws. Rate of fire is four rounds per crank revolution. Assembles in minutes with ordinary hand tools. Classified semi-auto, so no special BATF permit is needed.

"We are very impressed with the quality of workmanship in machining this kit out of billet aluminum. All the parts went together properly and fit well, and the directions were easy to follow.
Our only dissappointment with the manufacturer of the kit was the tubing that was used as spacers on the cam gear. It looked like it had been randomly cut with a pocket knife. With everything else so nicely machined and mated this seemed out of place and , in fact, had to be adjusted.
Might we suggest spacers turned out of nylon. I happened to have some for a TV mount that I was able to use to line up the cams properly."

gatlin gun poor review,July 9, 2007
By dedustfrom wendell, nc
"i bought this kit and i think the over all design is not very good and i couldv'e designed it way better. it kept shaking the screws loose after a few shots and it wouldnt function very well. the material used for barrel shrowds are as thin as a soda can. the tripod is a very nice piece though. if your in the market for a nice tripod get the tripod and use it and throw the rest of the kit away.i returned it the very next day and am still awaiting to get my money back."
