"Reasonably easy to sharpen and stays that way for the entire gutting/field dressing. It has a good balance and holds well in the hand. The only drawback that I found was that the finish on the wood is not dishwasher safe. As a result I have to reoil the wood to keep it in original shape. I wish they made the same style knife in pocket sie."

"The sharpness of the knife is fine. I have used it everywhere, but after a couple of months of use the locking device has worn down so that the knive will fold when in use. Be careful of that if you buy one"

"I have carried this knife for about 2 yrs. I have gotten alot of complents on the classy style and good strong blade. The blade holds a sharp edge very well. I have used and carried MORE expensive knifes from highly acclaimed companies, and this knife is the one I alway reach for and put in the pocket. It ranks up there with any high priced knife you will find with a much lower cost to you. I have ordered this knife for many of my friends and coworkers and they all carry this with them."

"I really like the fact that this knife has inserts that can be removed to be refinished if they get all scratched up with use, the knife is solid as a rock and very nice looking, the edge on the blade was sharp, but not super sharp when i got it, but nothing a few seconds on a diamond hone won't fix, overall a very good knife"

"I like this one (the medium-size). It's a solid, good-quality piece for the money. The scales have some interesting figure to them and I like the matte silver finish. Unlike some of my other liner-lock knives, the liner is thick, about 3/32". Bending the liner to unlock is allowed by a scallop in the liner toward the butt end of the knife. This allows the liner to be full thickness at the blade pivot, which allows for positive locking (I hope that makes sense). Knife is compact for the blade size, blade takes and keeps an edge reasonably well.
Minor gripes: The plastic (?) blade pivot washers between blade and liner allow a bit of wobble (about 3/32" at the tip), yet cause enough friction that you have to concentrate and flick the thumb stud firmly to get it to open in one try. Brass washers would allow for smoother operation, but I imagine this will improve over time. On the other hand, unlike my easier opening knives, this one doesn't open and ding the tip when I drop it on the ground, so maybe I just need to man up and open the thing like I mean it. Or maybe I need to not drop my knives. Unlocking would be a bit easier if the liner were serrated where the thumb pushes on it, but this improves as you get used to the knife.
Quibbles aside, it's a good value and would makes a good gift for the non-knife-nut."

"I was looking for a good but larger then normal 3" pocket knife and saw this one. I have only used it a few times for cutting up boxes and opening cases but it felt good in my hand and seems to be holding a good edge. I did hit the old diamond a few strokes and it feels like a razor again. I like sharp tools. So I hone it after each use need it or not. A gadget guy thing. Highly recommend."

"I ordered the knife not realizing that it was carried in a belt sheath. Though I had never carried a belt sheath, I was pleasantly surprised. The knife is not overtly large, and therefore it never gets in the way. It is well made and I anticipate that I will carry it for a while."
