Excellent With Synthetic Cable,

"I have two ATV's, each with 3500lb WARN winch. I have Blue Synthetic Cables on both winches and a winch saver on each of these winches. The winch saver has worked flawlessly in the 12 months of use. The product works excellent with the synthetic cables. I have never used the winch savers with steel cables.
The winch saver keeps the hook from bouncing around and keeps the hook securely against the fairlead. Also helps to protect the synthetic cable by preventing sand and abrasives from being drawn into the drum when retrieving the winch cable.
This is a fantastic product and well worth the price to help maintain your winch and cables!
HIGHLY recommend this product."

"bought this product about a year ago and used it immediately with good results. only problem after, i tried it using the synthetic winch line on another winch. this required the removal of the top protective cover right behind the hook. even then the saver was a tight fit on the synthetic line. ending thought is that this saver was intended strictly for the wire cable where it fuctions without a glitch"

"great protection for roller fairlead. easily mounted if you have a removeable hook. if not then it says to remove your cable from the winch then slip it on. i just cut my old hook off and bought a new removeable hook for around $2.00. kinda pricey but will probably save in the long run."

"After reading the overall good reviews of the winch saver I bought it. I felt that any instances having to do with the winch hook ripping through the rubber was from the winch being pulled to tight against the fairlead rollers. Instalation was easy. Remove the hook thread the cable through and attach the hook again. All you need to do is lightly snug the saver up to the fairlead rollers and it stays right in place. I've got 120 miles on my Rincon with it and it is working perfectly. No vibration or slap of the hook and it has not loosened at all."

"This is an excellent product that could be easily called "Winch Quieter". It is easy to install, protects the fairlead rollers from the hook and, perhaps most importantly, quiets the clanking of the winch hook against the fairlead rollers. Perfect for a hunting atv/utv."

"Works just like they say it will and fits my warn 2500 lbs winch perfect, keeps it snug and rattle free. But a word of caution, do not crank it down too hard or you will bust it. Remember a 2500 lbs winch has alot of torque, and it is not nessesary to torque it down that hard, snug works just fine."
