Gundersen® Sawbuck Pack Unit

Load up for back country adventures with this Pack Unit that includes a heavy-duty nylon top pack, canvas pack panniers, leather sawbuck pack saddle, pack pad with canvas shell and 1" felt back. The 1,000-denier nylon rain flap has double-stitched and hemmed edges for strength and D-rings and leather laces to tie securely to pack gear. Cut-out pack is made of 1,000-denier nylon and features heavy-duty, two-way zipper and heavyweight nylon webbing to secure to saddle. The Nylon Pack Pannier is double-stitched and reinforced with heavyweight webbing. Includes girth. Measures: 38"W x 28"H x 10"D. Nylon Pack Pannier measures: 28"W x 16"H x 12"D.

"I just purchased the Gundersen sawbuck after owning a set of morgan sawbucks for 20 years my first pack trip the Gundersen bags broke on the bar the quality was not even close. The straps were in very tough places to buckle and the reinforcement straps did not compare the morgan quality was far better product."

"Recently went to colorado on an unguided doit yourself hunt and this saddle held everything I needed. Even the horse seemed comfortable with it on her. I was extremely pleased with it. Only suffered minor damage when the trailing horse freaked out and pulled away suddenly ripping the rear strap. Still made the trip down the mountain with all gear in tack."
