"This oilskin duster is a great jacket. I've worn it all day in torrential downpour and have stayed dry as a bone. It cuts the wind very well and feels very rugged and sturdy. The pockets are great, too. No regrets about this purchase."

"Very well made coat. Wish I ordered a size larger since it doesn't quite cover my entire saddle while riding. If you just want it to protect you then order your standard size, but if you want it for riding, get the next size larger."

"I commute by train and bus to and from work every day in a climate known for being wet and chilly a great deal of the time - and in the winter I'm going to work AND heading home in the dark. It's COLD! The duster keeps the wind out and the rain off. The leg straps come in particularly handy in the wind department! The snap closures make the coat easy to put on and take off. It's also a great way to protect clothes from whoever sat in your bus seat before you did."

"I ordered this duster because I wanted a waterproof coat within my price range! Boy did it deliver! I never need to worry about getting caught in the elements (unless I didn't bring it) because this coat works so well!!! I would definitely recommend this to friends and family. I've had many compliments about it as well! What's better--I haven't had to oil it and I've had it for almost a year and a half now."

"This coat is durable, well made, warm, virtually windproof and totally waterproof. I have had it for 5 months now, all the way through the tail end of winter here in Kodiak and into the rainy season. I stay as dry as I do when I am wearing gor-tex, and a heck of a lot warmer. The front pockets are lined and good for hand warming, the collar sits snug right under my chin, keeping out the rain and cold. This coat was one of the best purchases I have made in recent years. Buy Two."

"I don't ride a horse nor a harley, I don't own a car, I rely on public transportation. This is why I bought the coat, I am exposed to the eliments, so, not wanting to look like others, and because I like being an individual, this coat serves that purpose. You just don't see a lot of city people with these kinds outer ware on! I like that I can strape the coat around my legs, it helps keep my pants from getting wet when it rains, plus it is a warm coat. Don't ware it alone, I don't like the sticky feel I get while the lining is touching my skin!"
