"I was in the worst storm we have had in Calif. (60 mph winds and lots of rain) in sometime and the rain gear work perfectly. I was very impressed."

NOT as advertised!!!,

"We bought two rain coats and pants for a 3 day music festival since rain was in the forecast. We were excited to try our new "100% Waterproof" rain gear and got to do so on the second day. Within 20 minutes of throwing on our jackets I noticed the fabric was starting to darken around the seams. In less than an hour both of our jackets had started to darken because of the water soaking into the fabric. We were both completely soaked by a light rain even though I had the hood up and was zipped to my neck. I was even wearing the "Roughneck" line that is supposed to be more geared towards work wear. To sum it all up - VERY DISAPPOINTED! This ruined our day at the festival. Next time I'll just bring plastic instead of spending over $100 for a product that does not perform as advertised. --- Be aware, this fabric was not 100% waterproof in my experience. ---"

"Husband bought me this for football games. Arrived day before heavy rains hit. He had it out for me when I left for work in the morning and I was the only dry one to arrive at work that morning. Worked great at the game that night. Lightweight but kept me dry. Loved it and my husband for getting it for me. Not just for hunting."

"Light, comfortable, quite packable indeed. But waterproof, most certainly it is NOT.
One and a half hour walking in light rain and my shirt under the jacket got soaked. Even what was inside the (zippered) pockets got wet."

"Jacket is very nice, very waterproof, but quality control was a little off. There is a hole in a pocket. When examining it, it is clear to see that it was never stitched to begin with. The edging is on one piece but the other piece was never stitched to it. I needed the jacket so did not have time to return it, otherwise I would have asked for another jacket to be sent."

"Overall I really like the jacket. It's great for rain and does well as a windbreaker, all at a decent price. You can roll it up and pack it anywhere. A couple of things I don't really like are the velcro wrist closures and the velcro front zipper flap. I'd prefer an elastic wrist and snaps on the front flap. Other than that, I really like this jacket."

"I am in the pest control business and work outside every day. I need a light but tough packable raincoat that will withstand extreme temperatures without losing it's pliability. It also has to be tough enough to handle brush and briars without leaving me soaked. It does the job well and at a great price. It would make a great addition to your work gear or hunting pack! It is nearly perfect for my use."

Very light backbacy fishing jacket,

"When I bought this jacket I was looking for something that would allow me to make long treks in the middle of the night to some of my favorite backbay salt marsh areas in search of striped bass that are "resident" to these areas during the hot, muggy, buggy summer nights. In addition, the jacket had to be waterproof and I had to be able to pack it in a small space so I didn't have to wear it on the walk in or out - just while I was actually fishing. AND, last but not least, it had to be waterproof! Well, I believe I found the ideal jacket for this purpose. It meets ALL these requirements. It COULD be a little thinner as I still get a little warm when using it some nights, but I couldn't find anything else out there that was this thin AND waterproof."

"I work delivering freight from a tractor trailer truck. I need rain gear that's compact, light weight, and that works. This gear is just what I need. I can put it on and take it off quickly, it doesn't get me over heated, and keeps me cool. Definitely worth the price."

"the jacket is to long. It is more like a parka. Several years ago you had a similar jacket that was shorter in length and it was great to hunt in because it was wind proof and waterproof and shorter. The length is important because you don't want it covering up your pockets. If you pull the bottom drawstring then it bellows out around your midsection. It becomes bulky and this is not good when you are walking through brush. Columbia has come out with one that works great. However they need to use your colours."
