The support starts with the aggressive, lugged Vibram® outsole, then continues up into the light, polyurethane footbed that absorbs shock every time you step. Adding to the support is the stitched-down lace-to-toe style that provides a wide platform for greater stability and is very flexible. Even the laces are specialized to stay securely tied during a hard day's work. These waterproof boots are lined with a moisture-wicking Cambrelle® lining and 200-gram Thinsulate® Insulation to keep your feet warm on cold days. Steel toe.

"My first pair of these boots didn't last 60 days. The rivets holding the lacing rings popped out. Cabelas replaced the boots with no problems. The second pair of boots didn't last 12 months. The stitching near the toe came apart and then the sole started coming off. These boots will not hold up in the work environment Carhart is known for."

"Given my experience with Carhartt workwear, I had high hopes for these boots. I drive a small flatbed around the Seattle area delivering glass to job sites ranging from mudholes to city streets. As advertized, these boots ARE comfortable, and they DO give good support, but I'm not at all impressed by their (lack of) durability! Most boots will last me about a year or a little better. I've only had these for 6 months and they already leak, and the soles are nearly worn out. I'm afraid I can't give them much of a recommendation."

"I normally love Carhartt brand workwear, unfortuantly the soles of this boot began coming off within a month of working in the water and mudd. I have never had that happen to a boot so fast. I was willing to chalk it up to a defect but it happend to the both boots. I was unimpressed to say the least."

"I have owned a lot of work boots and these by far are not one of the better. The fit, durability and general quality is low grade. The first time the boots were exposed to moisture the leather became swollen and dried in a distorted state kind of like water damaged cardboard or something, very cheap. Expected more from carhartt."

"I would have to say these are the "best" pair of steel toe boots I have ever had to wear. I work in a factory where I'm on concrete for over 12 hours every night and these boots still feel good. To me, these boots felt great from the get-go. It seemed like they where already broken in from the day I got them and almost a year later they still feel that way. They are very durable and feel great, and worth every penny."

"Best pair of steel toe boots I have ever purchased. I work construction and in my line of work steel toes are required. I hate getting new boots because as we all know, they have to be broken in. I also have flat feet and have had ACL surgery on my knee. Making it really hard to find the right boot for a 12-15 hour work day. I put the boots on and it felt as if they were already broke in. I didn't want to take them off. I wear them even when Im not working. I love them! They are truely worth every dollar!"
