These performance fabrics are designed to wick moisture away from the body so you're dry, which is the key to staying warm. Crafted of 100% polyester that's fleeced on both sides to trap maximum amounts of heat.

Weird fit,November 8, 2009

"Like others have said, these are basically fleece sweat pants. But I didn't like the fit. The waist comes up high to keep your midsection warm, but it comes up so high that I didn't find it comfortable, and then they were kind of tight around the waist. It was also pretty tight around the calfs, but baggy in the thigh and crotch region. Very weird fit, and I returned it. I bought these because I was looking for some really good warm long underwear, and I think the Underarmour fit the bill much better."

"I recently purchased a set of these MTP Polartec crew top and drawers. They are GREAT! I'm a goose hunter. Sitting for hours in a goose blind, in 10 - 20 degree temps requires ultra warm, comfortable, thermal underwear. These are exactly that! With the MTP top, I've been able to remove one extra layer of shirts under my parka, resulting in much less binding when I stand to shoot. With the MTP drawers, I only need to wear my insulated bibs on the very coldest of days. In fact, the set can be almost too warm, during any kind of exertion. But for my kind of goose hunting or other activities, where you're sitting for long periods, they are perfect."

Excellent insulation layer in bitter cold weather,January 3, 2009

"I wear these as an insulation layer in sub 10 degree weather in my treestand. I wear on top of my under armour base 3.0, and under my scentblocker outfitter pants, they compess well, but give some added insulation over my base. I've set in a tree stand 16' up with tempertures as cold as 3 degrees four 5 hours in 25 to 35 mile an hour winds in relative comfort. I also wear waterfowl hunting under my commander fleece pants, because they don't need to be washed as often as the underarmour. excellent base for tempertures of 15 to 40 degrees, or as insulating layer in bitter cold weather. Also much cheaper than the underarmour base 3.0, and almost as good. These are made for low activity levels of hunting in a blind or treestand. I would recommend to anyone I know."

"I bought the tops and bottom and they are great when you put them on they are real smooth and toasty most times I only put them on and my coat and pants and I stay warm in the blind and tree stand and I don't think about getting cold it just don't hapen a real good product I have never gave my apinion but these I had to great"

"Setting out dekes, I usually worked up a pretty good sweat and then got cold as the day wore on. Sweat pants and a sweat shirt just didn't cut it. Order a pair of the Polar-Weight Drawers, and to my surprise I stayed dry if after breaking ice on my pond. Was so happy with the drawers, I went to Cabela's in La Vista, and bought the top to go with the drawers. Wicking action of the set really works great."

"I am a true believer in anything polartec. This base layer adds the warmth needed during cold hunts. The only problem (its totally my fault) is that I ordered the regular sized pants. I am 6'1 200lbs. The pants only went down halfway on my calf. Besides looking like a fat man in little pants, these pants kept me warm. However, these are to be used in a layering system only. I usually wear the underarmour coldgear tights underneath these."

"Very good product. I wore the polar-weight fleece drawers while packing a rifle, pack, and tree-stand in sub-20 degree weather with a constant wind blowing. Although I was soaked with sweat after hiking half a mile uphill and hanging the tree stand, I sat in the tree stand for three hours until sunset and never became chilled or cold. Right at sunset, I shot my deer."

"I have worn these Polar-Weight drawers several times while hunting in New York winter. This includes a day of very heavy rain when my gortex wet through. These drawers kept my legs dry and warm even with wet outer clothing.
