teamed our X4 technology with the tried-and-true Dry-Plus® barrier to give you an
all-weather walker for "running" anywhere. The new technology starts on the bottom with the
multitrack
carbon rubber outsole for durability and superior traction, even in the wettest weather. Next, we used a
shock-absorbing heel and a forefoot that rebounds stored energy to ease the stress felt by the legs.
The molded EVA midsole is the foundation that gives you the type of stability you feel from a
top-quality athletic shoe. A polyurethane anatomic footbed and the midfoot bridge adds extra support
through the arch to avoid foot fatigue. For those unpredictable days outside, we used premium
waterproof leather, then added Dry-Plus® to ensure your feet stay 100% dry.
Men's sizes: 8-14 D, EE, 4E widths. Half sizes to 12.

"What's worse than cold wet feet? Not much. As a UPS driver in Pennsylvania for over 20 years, I have tried many different brands of shoes. Some of the so- called waterproof shoes that I have purchased over the years seemed to lose that property after a few rainy days. That made for some long days. I purchased a pair of Cabela's Dry Plus X4 Walkers in black last year, and while they are still in service, I liked them so much that I purchased the same shoe in brown. What can I say except that rain or shine these are the shoes to wear. As anyone in the northeast can tell you, we have seen more than the usual amounts of rain in the last six months. I have stepped into puddles, quagmires, and other assorted hazards and just knew that in a few seconds I would feel the cold wetness begin to creep in to my socks. Much to my pleasure I was wrong. The shoes have never failed me. Even though my original pair are still going strong, on my next visit to Cabelas's I plan on purchasing another pair. As long as Cabelas's makes them, these are my shoes. Thank you."

"I bought these to wear in a bussiness casual office work environment and I like them. They are casual yet can be worn in a bussiness setting. I wear a size 10 and bought a size 10. Tried them on at the store and they fit just fine. However for me they seem to take extra time to break in and they hurt my feet compared to new sneakers, but that's just me"

"I have purchased most of my shoes from Cabela's over the past 20 years and have been happy. This shoe fits well and what I ordered but it squeaks so loud that people can hear me coming from 30 yards away. I wore them for 3 weeks and hoped it would get better but the squeak is very loud. I'll end up throwing them away in another week even though they are still new and in good condition."

"I've read some of the other reviews and while I agee that these are stiff out of the box, they are incredibly comfortable as walking shoes once you soften them up. A little leather where the uppers contact the ankle and some bending back forth will do it. A bandaid at the Achilles the first week resolves any potential blisters. I usually walk about two miles a day on a local college campus and since I began wearing these shoes, I have doubled my distance, and walking is an absolute pleasure. Now the fatigue I experience is the kind you want from exercise, not the aches and pains in the feet and legs I got with other, branded walking shoes. I got the Nubucks and will continue to buy these puppies when I see them on sale. They are wearing incredible well also."

"a really nice pair of shoes for the money the water proof works well very comfortable and i am on my feet for min.12 to 15 hours a day the only set back is like some of the other reveiws say it does give you blisters on the back of your ankle but after a few days no promblem had shoes now about a month or so work well for me"

"this shoe is extremely well built, excellent grip even on slippery surfaces. the heel area could use more cushion, but it did not give me blisters. overall comfort is good, if you have tired legs from too much cement, you might want to look elsewhere.

"I've purchased my last two pairs of shoes from Cabelas because they sell many of their products in wide sizes. I used to buy New Balance, but they changed their shoe design so a 4EEEE is not as wide as it used to be. The Cabelas shoe has plenty of toe box room and I need every square inch of it. I'm still breaking the shoes in but, from all indications, they're a winner."

"Top notch shoes. I have been wearing this shoe and your hiking shoe with the x4 sole for over 4 years. These are the only shoes that my feet don't hurt in at the end of the day (I am a big guy). I wish you had a running or sport shoe with the same sole. The x4 sole has my vote. Great job!"
