"I just got back from Alaska off of a brown bear hunt. (N0 BEARS). But lots of rain and wind. This vest was really warm, and stopped the wind. Not too heavy. A good product. Snaps are too small / hard to fasten with one hand, but overall good. Glad I had it with me."

"Gentlemen: Everyone was raving about this vest but frankly I don't feel the love on this one. I am 5' 9" tall ; 150 Lbs. and the Medium size was both too large, AND too bulky. The opening around the neck, when closed, is HUGE. For a MUCH bigger guy with NO NECK, this vest might be great! The construction itself ( quality, as opposed to fit ) is great...it is " well made " structurally, just not for this hunter. I'm an upland man, and moving in this vest would be cumbersome to say the least. I returned it. Still and always love Cabela's..."

"Wife got me this for father's day, and I thought the camo was cool, but it needed arms. I have used it all fall here in Texas and have been pleasantly surprised. It is very useful either alone over a sweater or as a layer. Only problem with layering is that the pockets are a little bulky, but they do hold a ton of stuff. The fabric seems to be holding up very well, and the pattern is seriously cool."

"Great vest. It perfoms exactly as Cabela's claimed. It helped keep me toasty during this season's deer hunting in 20 and 30 degree temps. I gave a 4 star versus 5 because I first received cabela's wool vest which fit a tad better (although a size smaller than the wooltimate) and the outfitters camo was darker. But, I just couldn't get past the itch from the wool vest.... so returned it. The wooltimate will be a welcome addition to my warm clothing arsenal. I like the vest so much, that I plan to wear it as an outside/inside garment for every day use."

"I also have the pants, hat, and henley, but this is my favorite. Just like the others it is warm even when wet, windproof, fits like it should, and looks great. The pockets are in great spots, and the long tail is very appreciated in the stand. If you can only get one piece of the wooltimate gear, GET THIS VEST! You'll be glad you did."

"Just got my new vest and love it! Good workmanship, nice large pockets and an extra long tail. I tried it on and it fit perfectly. Still a little warm to wear it for any length of time, but I am looking forward to using it for an upcoming Caribou hunt in Quebec in a couple of weeks. Also, I know it will be great as a standalong garment in early archery season and for laying later in the season. I recommend this vest if you are in need of a quality vest for your hunting needs. I also ordered and received both the pants and the jacket. I am confident this deer season will be a warm one in Western New York!"

"I have never worn a vest before I purchased this one. It keeps your core body warm and allows for motion of the arms. Breathable, great layer. Quiet, soft, great length, (im 6'3). Outfitter camo is my favorite camo pattern. If your looking for warmth without the extra fluff and movement this is a great choice."
