The first liner sock and insulating boot sock knit together as one piece of fabric. Because the Ingenius
liner is fully integrated with the outer fabric, this eliminates the bunching and friction that can be
caused by wearing two socks or even a sock with two separate layers. By knitting the layers together,
this also increases the effective moisture-wicking properties of the sock. Included in the makeup is
X-Static silver nylon, a unique material that takes pure silver and bonds it to the surface of a fiber. The
result is outstanding odor prevention using an antimicrobial layer. X-Static accomplishes this by
releasing silver ions to change the chemical composition of the elements that produce odor and
bacteria.
The Lightweight (10") is a great choice for early-season hunting or everyday use. Inner layer: 70% olefin,
30% X-Static silver nylon. Outer layer: 62% stretch nylon, 35% merino wool, 3% Lycra® spandex.

"Great socks for warmer weather. Only complaint if your legs aren't skinny these may be to tight on the top of sock. I had to take them back and got the ragg wool (merlino) and they worked out better for me and not to hot."

"These are the best hunting socks that I have ever worn. I love them for early season up unill the first part of November when the medium weight sock is needed. They really hold the scent in or something. I wore them allday with muck boots and my feet sweated alot and they were soaked. by my feet way still kinda of dry, damp but dry, and they didn't have any smell at all. Bottom line, they are the best for me."

"My feet really smell bad,Starting 2 to 3 hours after putting my shoes or boots on. It was so bad I refused to fly I did not want take my shoes off for security at the airport. "Excellent comfort over a variety of conditions. I live in Oregon. My job requires me to do a lot of running back and forth inside and outside. With my old cheap department store socks I always had cold feet outside and hot feet inside. Not with these socks. They seem to be able to keep me comfortable inside and out. "Hey guys and gals, if you are they type of big game hunter that doesn't shy away from climbing hills all day, or hiking countless miles with a fully loaded 45 lb pack, crossing raging rivers and creeks just to get to the spot where the hunting starts to get good then you need to seriously consider buying this sock! One piece of advice, as with all socks made of synthetic based materials DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DRYER after you have washed them, otherwise your 10 yr old son will be wearing them next time."

"I love these socks. I baught some new boots and needed some non-cotton socks to accompanie the breathable boots, so I bought these. First you should know that I get bad athletes foot easy, so i figured that since i am going on a three day hunting trip i should test them and see how well they work over the course off three days...so i wore them in august in reno for three days straight, the lining in them kept my feet dry and smell free, and best of all NO ATHLETES FOOT. I will definatly be buying more of these for every day wear instead of just for hunting."

"When it gets to socks I have high demands. Generally hiking type socks are only good for a couple of washes before they start "loosing their construction". Since I've discovered the Ingenius socks it is the only socks that I buy and wear.
I have used the same set of socks on a bear hunt in Alaska and pheasant hunting in South Africa. In cold and warm conditions my feet were comfortable. In the cold weather I should have used the medium or heavyweight sock, but in the much warmer South African conditions I never had that sweaty feeing that I got with other socks.
These socks are very comfortable and of a superior quality and definitely worth a 5-star rating!!"
