"I recently wore this vest over a tshirt with a light jacket as my outer layer on my muzzle loader deer hunt in Colorado. The vest was plenty warm, and stopped the wind. The temperature was around 40F in the mornings. I would buy again."

"Excellent Vest. Best I've ever owned. I could not feel the wind through it at all and it never trapped any moisture. I wore it everyday on a 6 day Caribou Hunt in a lot of different weather conditions and mostly wore it with an Under Armour cold weather base and a burber shirt, that's all. Most of the time the wind was blowing 20 to 30 mph and temps were in the 20's, 30's and 40's (F). When it rained I'd put on a light rain jacket. One day the wind was blowing 35 mph and the temps dropped, so I added a fleece layer under the vest - it was perfect."

"I was struggling with dealing with cold days but sick of feeling bulky in my extreme winters. I thought I would try the vest but was concerned about whether or not it would really keep me warm. Well not to worry...the windshear has made for some comfy AND free-feeling hunts, even at 10 below this past few weeks.
I am able to get the warmth I need without having to sweat all over; the wind-shear fleece takes care of everything for a mid layer. I hunted coyotes yesterday with the vest and baselayer; it was 32 degrees and I was able to hunt, walk, hunt, walk, and have freedom of movement and warmth.
High recommendation!"

"The vest is warm and stops the wind. I usually wear it over a flannel or chamois shirt in cold climates and throw a jacket over it for colder climates. My only complaint is that the zipper is weak. With the garment zipped up, the zipper has twice pulled apart from the bottom. This is not due to having purchased the wrong size. It is a bit big on me. But when pulling jackets on and off and loading the camper or truck, the zipper has come apart."

"I love this vest bought it on sale , wore it last night it went from summer to winter in one night , froze hard and wind was howling with rain and sleet and snow. I wore it under the MT050 rain Jacket and bibs , I was toasty and very comfortable.
The only thing is it woudl pick up burs if you wore it alone. But I bought it to keep warm so I dont care ."
