Bushnell Excursion Binoculars,March 17, 2009
By Smitty65from ILLINOIS
"Really like them. I am looking forward to 2009 deer season. I have already used them for bird watching. They are a nice size and weight. Would recommend a harness so you can keep them handy during use. Hopefully they will last as long as my last pair of binoculars."

Unbelievable Clarity and,January 10, 2009
By Fursurgeonfrom Texas
"These binos (Excursion 10 x 42 Realtree AP) are worth five times the full retail value. Great size, simple accurate focus and ultimate clarity found only in four digit binos. Compared them to my Nikon action 12 x 50's (which are excellent) and the clarity is not even close............Buy the excursion's.....trust the reviews."

Value and Price,November 23, 2008
By desertrat008
"I have owned the 10 x 42 for over a year now. Used them in all sorts of conditions and am quite pleased with them. They are a good buy at these prices. The only draw back that I have seen so far are the lens covers and they are a bit hard to adjust if it is cold out. But other then that, I am happy with this purchase."

Extremely good quality for the price!,October 9, 2008

"You could spend over $500 on a great pair of binoculars, or pay half that for these and not sacrifice hardly any quality. They are clear, durable, and great for hunting!"

Excellent Binos (10x32).,May 21, 2008
By Planetcatfrom Sierra Mountains, California
"I bought the 10x32 Bushnell Excursions primarily for hunting and glassing for game. I wanted a pair that had decent light transmission and 10x magnification without huge objective lenses or heavy weight. These fit the bill perfectly. The lens clarity is as good as my buddy's Leupolds in 8x32 for about 1/4 of the price. They do weigh more than expected, but the compact design with the roof prisms minimizes bulk. The lens caps seem fine to me, but I don't leave them on when hunting. The neck strap is standard and I will probably buy a bino-buddy or something similar. If you want a mid sized set of binos with large size and euro performance, these are them. I have excellent eye sight, so I feel that my opinion of them is accurate. If you have a problem with the lens caps or strap, you can go and spend $600 and get some that are better."

Bushnell Excursion Binoculars.,March 17, 2008
By GaryBSac
"I should have believed some of the previous reviews. I like the power, the adjustments, and the rubber covering. The weight, size, lens covers, and strap attachments result in the "fair" review. I was totally disappointed with the lens covers that fall off all the time. The strap attachments are poorly designed, cheap, and flimsy. This pair will go in the truck and stay there. These binoculars are not for carrying when hunting or sight seeing."

Great Value!!,February 12, 2008
By BMc1from Benton, Arkansas
"When compared to other name brand with similar features, the Bushnell Excursion is by far and away the greatest value for the money. I studied every major brand and the average price for the same features was at least double and in some cases much, much more. The fully mulit-coated lenses are very sharp, clear and great in low light. Size and weight were as expected for feel and stability. Great eye relief and easy adjustments. Carry case & lanyards are much higher quality than expected. Highly recommended!"

"High quality optics at an affordable price. These optics are every bit as good as my Leupold Binoc's that cost 3 times as much. Wish i would have checked these out sooner. This my field pair for hunting and spotting. They are great you wont be disappointed."

Not impressed,January 7, 2008
By BBHSASK
"I found these to be poor quality. They had poor low light vision and a poor focus. I used them for one evening and could not belive how unsatisfactory they were. When I got home I packaged them up and returned them and reordered Steiners. You get what you pay for in binos."

Great Binoculars Bushnell Excursion 10-28's,January 1, 2008
By ricknchadsdadfrom Ohio
"I have had all types of Binoc's, large, small, heavy and light. For the price and quality, these have to be the best. I've had what we would call, "Better Quality", but I've yet to really figure that out. Sharp, clear, easy to use, adjust and carry."

Too big,December 6, 2007
By RebeccaXmasfrom Buffalo, NY
"After reading the great reviews from hunters of this product, I decided that these were the binocs I'd buy for my boyfriend for his birthday (I know nothing about hunting or binoculars). To make a long story short, I (nor my boyfriend) can imagine using these binocs for hunting - they are really big and really heavy... most hunters that I have checked with prefer to keep their loads light while hunting - and these just won't cut it. Returning for a different pair (yet to be determined)."

excursion binos,November 15, 2007
By archer771from Northern BC, Canada
"great set of binos awsome clarity and less expensive then other brands on the market, I was told to spend $1000 or more to get good binos but the clarity of these glasses is equal to others that are 10x more pricey now when i go out instead of buying one pair of glass for 1599 i can get ten and still have replacements if they happen to break in a fall down a mountain on a goat or sheep hunt. defenitly worth the $$$"

Solid Binoculars,October 16, 2007
By Anonymousfrom PA
"Looking for a solid pair of binoculars without dropping Nikon kind of money. I found the Excursion binoculars to perform as well as a pair of more expensive pair of Nikon binoculars. These Bushnell binocs are bit heavier than the equal sized Nikons however I found them to perform just as well. Crisp, clear and good in low light situations."

Bushnell Binos,September 10, 2007
By Tal1from Michigan
"For the price, I'm not sure they are worth it. The lense caps are chinsey at best and the eye covers can easily be lost. The overall optics are fine, but I have difficulty focusing each eye precisely and in unison. I seem to constantly tune the focus knob to keep items in focus. I do like their compact design and ease of turning the focus knob. Items in the center field of view are sharp, but gets progressively fuzzier out toward the edges. I haven't tried them out in low-light conditions yet. These are the most expensive binos I own to date, and would have hoped that dropping close to $300 would have produced a finer quality product. I should have gone to the store to try them out instead of buying over the internet. Shame on me."
