"Nice looks good worn to the range, woods, or dance hall. Does not look like a suburban cowboy shirt, because it is not. Light padding in the shoulder, I would prefer more. I have some old rifles and shotguns that kick. The tails stay in if tucked and it looks good if worn out-side of your pants. A good length for a tall shirt.

"I am so impressed with the Cabelas Classic Shooter's Shirts. Two weeks ago I was in South Dakota for the opening of Pheasant season. As always, the hunting was fantastic. On the second day, however, a careless hunter in our group took a shot at a low flying bird and hit me in the shoulder from about 35 yards away with #4 shot and magnum loads. I can't begin to describe the pain and the shock. In fourty years of hunting I have never had anything like that happen. I was sure that I would have a shoulder full of shot and be making a quick trip to the hospital. Here is the amazing part of my story and the reason that I am writing you. I was wearing a Cabelas Classic Shooter's Shirt and a Cabelas Upland Vest. To my amazement (and the amazement of the other 15 in our hunting party)only two pieces of shot made it through my shirt and slightly punctured my skin. Not only is my shooters shirt comfortable, it is amazingly tough. I am still in disbelief. I have never really considered the safety aspect of selecting hunting clothing, but I can tell you one thing. I am telling everyone that will listen to me about my experience. I have been a long-time customer of Cabelas and you can bet that everytime that I go into the field, I will be wearing Cabelas brand clothing."

"I hate it when I buy a shirt that is advertised as tall-size, then you get it and nope, it pulls out of your pants at the first mount of your 12-gauge. Hey Cabelas, err on the side of too-long. Also, if you get this shirt within 100 yds. of a dryer, it wrinkles terribly. I can't stand high-maintenance clothes."
