Awesome,November 7, 2009
By SoCalSUPERDUTYfrom San Diego, CA
"I've had these boots for a year and love them. I wear them on any type of hunting situation. They have been almost entirely submersed in water and mud and kept my dry. I've walked all day down a creek, crisscrossing the water. The boots were completely soaked on the outside, but I never got wet. The only down side is the lacing system. These are not the types of boots to put on and take off frequently, once there on, they stay on all day. Other than that, great boots at a great price."

DO NOT BUY!,November 1, 2009
By DEERDESTROYERfrom ZEELAND, MI
"I have owned these boots for a few years now, not long enough that i should have to buy new ones, and yet they are not worm in temps bellow 30 degrees f, and they leak! I would never buy these books again!!! Cabelas needs to improve the quality in these boots even if it means they cost a little more. The one thing i did like about the boots is they are very comfertable, but thats about it!"

Great Boots,October 15, 2009
By BigBullsMTfrom Bozeman, MT
"I have worn these out in 0 degree temps and 24" of snow on the ground, plenty warm and comfortable. good traction in the snow/ice. Only complaint is the small D rings all the way up the shin rather than hooks (for the laces). Small problem for an overall great boot!"

My Favorite Boots,September 24, 2009
By chev3100from Ely, Nevada
"I usually don't write product reviews, but I've been so pleased with these boots I figured my opinion might help another shopper. I bought mine about a year ago and have worn them at least 150 times. You wouldn't know it by looking at them, they still look like new. I've worn them for everything from woodcutting to hunting and even to work!! They are the best boot you'll find for the price hands down!!"

ok boots,August 17, 2009
By CaptObviousfrom The Ing, CA
"Boots are comfortable my only complaint is they are a bit warm for where I archery hunt and that the sole is too stiff. They have only been worn in the field for one weekend but they lasted me through multiple 3-4 mile hikes with no sore feet, no blisters, just super sweaty hot feet."

8 POINT HUNTING BOOTS,March 15, 2009
By DocterDeer101from Camas, WA
"These boots are very comfortuable but in temerpures under 30 degrees Farienhiert they are worthless and for that matter the trackino just gets filled with mud in soft ground. I wore thes in Washington, West Virginia, and Oregon, and all of tghese provinces I was not really impressed."

cabelas 8-point hunting boots,February 4, 2009
By Anonymousfrom Pemberton, New Jersey
"I drive a concrete truck and Im on construction sites all day. I also hunt and fished with these boots. These boots keep my feet dry and warm all day long. Big thing, wear the correct type of socks. Keep boots clean by washing off with clean water and brush off mud off them each day. Oh, stuff them with paper at the end of day. My first pair I've had for 4 years and still wear them today. I recieved my second pair to day and can't wait to go out and play. From the Jersey Pines this is Cabela's saying "Keep our tradition's alive"."

Not Warm at Colder Temps.,January 28, 2009
By 1BillHfrom Northern New Jersey
"Although these boots are light, durable and comfortable, they are NOT warm in temps. below 20 degrees (F). I need to use "toe/foot warmers" to stay warm. Had I not weatherproofed the boots before I wore them outdoors, I would return them."

now I have an opinion,January 25, 2009
By dizifrom WA.
"Now that I have worn these boots for 2 months unlike some that review out of the box I will give my opinion. I primarily purchased as a work boot and the first month that I wore them the temp was between -2 up to 24 degrees F. usually with a 5 to 10 mph wind and up to 8 to 10 inches of snow, my feet never got cold or wet, of course I was always moving. So for the past month along with work I used them for duck and geese hunting with the same conditions as above except I was sitting still for many hours and my feet were fairly warm which was exceptable to me. It was hard to leave the house on these hunts and not wear my 2000 gram outfitters but I wanted to give an actual opinion based on use. Also;they have held up very well and show little ware, they are very comfortable even after 10 to 14 hrs. of work, great foot and ankle support. I got 1 size larger to accomidate wool socks and they fit me perfect. Hooks instead of D rings would be nice but a minor fault compared to good things about these boots. I hope this helps because I work hard for my money as I am sure you do, but it is just an opinion based on my use."

Good Boot,January 20, 2009
By hacksaw283from Battle Creek,MI
"I use these boots everyday and lately I am glad I bought these. I have always been a fan of Rocky's but I'll tell ya what you will not go wrong if you buy these boots. In the last 2 wks we have had wind chills in the minuses and I have to work outside. When I get home after 8 hr's in the snow and cold I take these boots off and my feet are nice and toasty. I would buy another pair for sure. You can't beat the 1000 grams there just right."
