"I can't say enough about these binoculars. I look through a Leica comparison microscope at work everyday so I knew how good the optics would be before I bought them and I wasn't disappointed. My husband has Swarovski 15x56 binoculars and while they are nice and bright, my Leica Duovid binoculars are noticeably more crisp with better contrast. I love these and wouldn't trade them for any others."

Leica Binoculars - The absolute best.,September 10, 2009

"I began hunting in 1989 at the age of 37. A friend advised me to get a really good pair of binoculars, more so than any other piece of hunting equipment. He said that a good set of binoculars is more important than any other piece of hunting gear. Boy, was he right! I spend more time looking through my binoculars when hunting than anything else.
He recommended that I look at the Leica brand binoculars and another high quality brand. After 30 minutes of looking closely through several brands and checking the features, qualities, sharpness, and more, in bright and low light, I chose a set of Leica's; 8 x 42 Trinovid. There was a noticable difference that I could see that set them apart from all other brands.
The view doesn't get any better than with these truly extraordinary binoculars. I can't say enough about them. The light, clarity, edge to edge sharpness, feel in the hand; everything about these binoculars is great. Whenever I offer them to someone to use, they are simply blown away. I use them for football games also and believe me, when I offer them to a friend to look through, they don't want to look through their own binoculars anymore.
Well, my eyes are a little older now and even with the Lasik surgery I had 10 years ago, my vision is not what it use to be. So I treated myself to the new Leica 10/15 x 50's with a higher magnification. Naturally, these binoculars are larger and heavier than my 8 x 42, but the extra magnification really makes a difference for me, especially when watching birds, squirrels and other wildlife while sitting in the hunting stand. It's very easy to switch from 10 to 15 power and both the left and right glasses have dioptic adjustments which is a really great feature. These binoculars are not advertised as being low-light, but they should be. They are exceptional in low light conditions.
I had to give a little thought about paying the price for these binoculars, but after using them, I have no second thoughts. They are worth every penny and more."

"The power adjustment knob only changes the left eye. You have to manually adjust the right eye piece. I would have thought for the money that the knob would have changed the power in both eyes simultaneously. Besides that the binoculars were great."

"the binoculars are simply excellent, two pair of binoculars in one well balanced frame and strap. A bit diappointing is the lack of any type of lens caps for the exit oculars ( the 50 mm side) on optics that costs more than 2.000 dollars and a rather weak zipper on the otherwise very good leather case. A very prompt Customer Service at both Cabela's and Leica replaced my leather case free of charge within days of being notified."

"How do you justify spending $2,500.00 dollars on a pair of top of the line Leica Duovid 10+15x50 binoculars? Well, read on and let's take a look see. I did my home work on these before I took the plunge. Besides having some of the best glass Germany has to offer and not to mention their world renown craftsmanship these babies are nothing short of an engineering marvel. These binoculars have the best edge to edge sharpness, the most outstanding color reproduction and brightness that your eyes have ever experienced, great light gathering ability, automatic diopter setting (set it to your eyes and forget it) as this setting will follow the power change automatically, a silky smooth oversized focusing wheel and rock solid construction built for a life time and beyond. It gets even better! Not only do you have two pair of binoculars in one, but would you believe three?! Leica says they are 10+15, but what they don't tell you is that you can also set the power ring on each eye piece to half way in between and you now have a 12.5 power binocular. Wow! No more being burdened with being weighted down by two pair of binoculars or a spotting scope...you have it all right here! Glass for that trophy buck on 10x and when you find him is he an eight or a ten pointer? Simply crank up the power to 15x and you now have your spotting scope (that you can use both eyes with) to count those points and see if this is truly the one that you want to fill your tag. With 50mm objective lens you can see in the pre dawn light as well as at dusk and beyond. Whether you are a hunter, a naturist, an amateur astrometer, a sports enthusiast or a birder you will absolutely love these. With all these features and Lecia's life time warranty there is simply no way that you can go wrong. A quick word about Cabela's. Other companies say they have the best service. I have dealt with many of them in the past, but Cabela's is tops. No brag just fact. Their customer service reps are the best and the most friendly in the business. And if they can't answer a question that you may have on a product they will get you a product specialist on the line right away to answer any queries that you may have...now it just doesn't get any better than that. Go ahead, take the plunge and pick yourself up a pair of these. I did and I'm a happy customer!"
