"My Dad bought one of these rifles three deer seasons ago. After watching the success he had at over 140 yards, I decided to get one and hang up my bow for the week. Once sighted in, I could hit the 10 mark at 100 yards ever shot. This is worth every dollar."

My CVA,August 11, 2009
By bigjoshcfrom Bushnell, Il
"I got this gun for Christmas and have not been disappointed yet. I sighted in the scope i bought in 0 degree weather and did not have any problems. I was hunting whitetail in freezing rain, snow, and just sheer cold and it did GREAT. Shoots a 2"-3" group at 150 yrds with 245gr. powerbelt sabbots and 150gr. of american pioneer black powder substitute sticks. Great gun for the price, i would recommend it to anyone who wants an amazing gun and is on a budget."

CVA Wolf Inline Muzzleloader,October 29, 2007
By 73BigDaddyfrom Elizabeth, AR
"This is an awesome gun for the money. Can't Beat it. No problems in rain, snow, freezing rain, or heat. I recommend not shooting sabots though because the plastic melts to the rifling, and it's very hard to get it out. I tried powerbelt bullets, and they're accurate and don't leave plastic film."

Garbage! Don't Buy It!,December 8, 2006
By FreakOfTheIndoTreefrom The Woods Of Michigan
"My fiance got the Wolf thinking that it would be light weight because of the 24" barrel and because it was inexpensive. We had to take it back two days later because the hammer mechanism will not work when it's cold outside. It will not stay locked. We were told that this is a common problem with the CVA's. Don't waste your money! You will be disappointed! Spend the little extra and get a Thompson Center Omega. Remember Cabela's will price match with it's competitors. So, look around and find the best deal, but don't get this gun. I can't speak for all of the CVA's, but I know that Thompson center makes a quality gun at an affordable price. Good luck."
